The superdome was lost after Katrina. It was demolished and fully rebuilt as the superstructure took too much damage from the storm. Tampa was hit pretty hard during hurricane Milton. It tore the roof off Tropicana Field. The city does have plans to rebuild that roof but it will take time and materials we don’t really have right now. Tropicana field uses a special fiberglass fabric roof to cover the building. It’s not exactly easy to make either. The baseball league really wants to get rid of the field which is more in line with the city as the field is quite old and can’t really be retrofitted with new technology nor can seats be added. There was a theme park in New Orleans which was part of the six flags company. It was lost to the floods, the theme park was completely abandoned and you saw pretty much everything was mostly intact except the roller coaster maintenance bay. New Orleans plans to demolish the old park and build a new one but nothing has happened as the city council is known to be corrupt and already took the money for themselves. Literally nothing is ever approved or denied simply it stagnates until the council just decides to do something which would be in like 10 years.
