I m not sure if it's home cooked , these vegetarian dishes taste best home-cooked simple food , with simple recipes and less spices unlike restaurant cooked over the top food . The fact that they just eat directly whether it be palak paneer or palak paneer breaks my heart. They should inform their host to use bread or rice as a base rather than just eating it. And FYI paneer is not tofu it has got it's english name and it's called cottage cheese.
