I agree. It’s SO often the case that there’s a female relative (mother, grandmother) who’s turned a blind eye to who her child is and backs him unconditionally, no matter what he does. Boys, especially, need boundaries. Otherwise they become angry and resentful toward the female enabler and then take it out on other women. It happens over and over and over again.

The customer who came to get her things can still count her blessings that Taylor didn't kill her too. While it's not exactly common, there are people who look older than they really are as Taylor does. How does one kill a person and then go to a Van Halen concert as if nothing ever happened? Illinois abolished the death penalty in 2011. Whether that was retroactive I don't know.

It really bugs me that the perps grandmother tried to provide an alibi for him. She knew he had a criminal history of sexual violence. It's one thing to 'hope' he didn't do it (as perhaps a loving family member might) and quite another thing altogether to obstruct police by intentionally lying to protect him. Thank goodness the police sought a search warrant and subsequently found the hosiery.

One thing is to report over the phone that this lady was deceased, and another that she was “raped.” That should have raised a red flag to investigators! Hmmm……these criminals really make huge mistakes, this is what they get caught! And, thank God for that. May the victim Rest In Peace always 🙏🏻
