In the many murder videos I've watched, where the victim was killed in the house, I always hear that they don't lock their doors. I don't really know how safe towns/cities in the US are, but I'd say it would be natural to lock one's door. It's a house, not a museum. You wouldn't want people walking in and out of your house freely, would you? An unlocked door is an invitation.

seriously, she is pure evil. Michael should feel stupid for thinking she actually loved him & that he would murder a man with her. it’s astounding that he even wanted to be with her bc he had to have known about some of her past! Gerry seemed like a lovely guy & clearly did his best to do the right thing as seen that he wanted to stay with her while she was pregnant (which is a terrible reason to marry someone but he obviously wanted to raise his child as a family). it’s heartbreaking that his life ended like it did, he deserved so much better than that. i can only hope Jill & her idiot fiancé Michael are having a horrible time in prison, she should have gotten the death penalty in my opinion. i’m so sad for the other husband she likely murdered, hopefully his loved ones feel he got some form of justice due to her conviction on Gerry’s murder

Cook could have really hurt someone. As a chef I've had plenty of times where a customer has had a food allergy and we'd have to change out the spatula*, knives, cutting boards, And just be super careful not to mix anything up. He's also a short order cook in a small kitchen in Colorado so it's probably not as big of a deal to those cowboys. What kills a city slicker yuppie only makes mountain people stronger. Lol.

By the way, there is a motive didn't mentioned in this report that gerry after he investigated about coil and discoverd her deception had filed fraud suits against her and that was the main reason for annulled marriage. Now coit still serving her life sentence and backus also in addition for 48 years. I feel sad for her son who had obliged the cruel truth that his mother is a pure evil and he can't defend her but he took the right action towards his sentiments as a human. Feel sad also for gerry and every one she decieved and used them R.I.P gerry🤲

Poor Jerry, he ate his meal, went home to relax and found his death instead. Jill Coit was a devil in disguise, manipulating men for her own personal gains, and a cold-blooded killer. She deserves to be where she is, in prison for the rest of her life. Jerry didn’t deserve to die, he was a good man with a business, helping others. When they said Jill was married a dozen times, I almost dropped from the chair I was sitting on. Wow. I feel sorry for all of those men being manipulated by a true monster. Unbelievable woman, very diabolical, and a murderer. Rest in Peace always, Jerry 🙏💐

That's why you need to be careful when cooking and making sure you get clean utensils when cooking people food ,im not surprised that our everyday fast food places do the same thing that's how people get sick..

@pretty dc exactly! I’m a chef and I know how serious this stuff can be. Cross-contamination is the most common cause of food borne illnesses and allergic reactions which is probably why a lot of people get sick after eating fast food.

Honestly kind of impressive cover up. No DNA, fingerprints or whatsoever. Just the motive that lead to them to crack down on her. Although I'm not exactly sure how the food evidence holds up in court. A lot of things could have potatoes in them.

No, she was a master manipulator. She was really no different than any other regular woman. She just had the gift of the gab and knew how to use her body to get what she wanted. She knew what men wanted and knew how to work them. That's why men shouldn't just fall for any ol thing, but they do. Oftentimes, a lot of men pass up on a good woman for women like her.
