The Slovers appealed their murder sentences, stating that media coverage preceding the trial had tainted the potential jury pool and prevented them from receiving a fair trial. Concerns were also raised about other elements such as the animal DNA testing, as well as evidence that the murder could have been committed by one of several alternative suspects. A judge ruled against opening a second trial for the Slovers, stating that he found no evidence of misconduct or prejudice. They're still in the slammer.

I was just reading what happened to Christopher, he was adopted by Mary Slover, daughter of the Slovers, but eventually lost custody accused of concealing the murder of Karyn which she vehemently denied. Christopher was 11 years old when he was given to the Hearns, his mom's parents. Poor thing. It was said that he doesn't like living with his maternal grandparents but I guess all the years under Mary's care he was definitely been brainwashed. I just hope he is not as fucked up as the rest of his paternal relatives.

Idk if I’ve seen another show cover this case or not but I feel like there’s been several cases of mothers being murdered by her in-laws or ex because the paternal grandmother has a weird obsession with the grandchild. It’s so weird they’ll be possessive of the kid like it’s their own 😬

my son was born on my mother in law's birthday. it was her first grandchild. she was at our house every day. my wife was stay at home so it was both of them with my son all day. wife (now ex) had post partum mental illness (bad) and so divorce and I took custody. I feared for my life coz her family is very vengeful. ex started dating a cop. went to the sheriff and gave him her psych file told him in advance that if I turn up dead, here is your killer. epilogue > she tried several times to claim crimes by me to get custody back but by then everyone had her psych file. she became famous in this butthole town. the cop actually married her knowing her insanity and once they had a baby the ex left me alone. word is she's still batshit crazy.

@KeijiSuwa
@KeijiSuwa 2 жыл бұрын
The gun could've had a suppressor on it, despite what the reenactment showed. There could've been several possible factors as to why the neighbors didn't hear the gunshots, but this is just one of them. The gun was a .22 caliber too, which are damn near silent when suppressed, and even without a suppressor they aren't extremely loud either. If you've seen other episodes where guns were the murder weapons, you'll notice that a lot of them were also .22s for more or less this reason.

Not on Mount Olympus, not in Valhalla and nowhere in the universe. It’s all make-believe to control people and collect their money. 🤑Look at all the preachers running around with private jets and living in mansions, paying no taxes while they keep telling all their followers we need more money for the all powerful being of the universe. Once you’re dead you are worm food… NO gods anywhere… on Mount Olympus, Valhalla or McD’s drive-through… It’s all fake. The science of forensics and the dedication of the police are the only reason the crime was exposed. “Faith” didn’t do a damn thing.🤮
