Has any footage from this episode been edited out? I remembering seeing a true-crime documentary episode years ago that has much similar with this episode-Texas City, TX; sex worker murders; the involvement of the Texas Rangers-but it doesn't have the bit that impressed me the most. One of the law enforcement officers mentioned that a large portion of the population of Texas City are temporary workers just passing through, but the sex workers were permanent locals. That made them citizens of Texas City, and therefore the portion of the population particularly entrusted to local law enforcement's protection. I was astonished and pleased that anyone at that time (I was an adult at the time of the crimes) would have spoken so positively about about sex workers. I have never been able to find that episode again, though.

Losing someone like this who ya really care bout under these circumstances is heartbreaking. I know from real life first hand experience it’s been two years since she’s transitioned I begged her to leave them people alone . I knew it wouldn’t end well . I moved on to another city after several attempts trying to get her up outta that shit hole environment I stopped looking for her only hearing occasionally she was still here . Til a mutual friend called me at work . I could tell in his voice when I picked up. It wasn’t anything good 😔 Broke me into pieces three days straight I cried . To leave behind two young sons I felt bad for them more than anything. I was mad at her because she was so stubborn and any love that was in her life and bad relationships losing her father just took away any real desire to live again. I told my friend Fuq that place I hate that city . @the moment but it ain’t the city it was the heartless mfkrs who did what they did … rest easy baby you’ll forever be in my heart ❤
