Side note, Peter Thomas married his high school sweetheart Stella after coming home from fighting in WW2. They had three children together and were married for over 50 years before she passed away. Peter Thomas may be known for narrating gruesome crime stories, but his personal life seemed to be very wholesome and inspirational.💜

There are some similarities - multiple roommates stabbed to death, unharmed survivors on another floor, etc. - that make me wonder if the culprit could possibly be someone like Copple. As of right now almost zero information has been released.

When the killer broke into the home, she woke up and heard/felt something was wrong and barked/growled. I like how they start the show by saying a new DNA test would catch the killer. Then they talk up the new DNA technique and how it can narrow it down quite well, only to just casually throw it back to the fact that the investigators had asked the girl if she knew anybody who smoked cigarettes and she mentioned him lol

You don't jail someone just because someone mentioned they smoke. Do you know how many people smoke? A jury would laugh their ass off if the prosecution would go there and say: he smokes, that is why he is the killer. The reason he is in prison is that the DNA testing proved he was there.

For safety, I think people who live in houses should have bars put on EVERY WINDOW, including the basement windows. When I moved into an apartment in NYC, there was a fire escape just outside my two livingroom windows. I had strong white iron bars with pretty lattice print put over those windows. There was a latch so that I could easily unlatch the bars and get out, if necessary. I felt totally safe for the eight years I lived there.

Why are they calling him a serial killer, for killing two people? Two is not a series! A serial killer is described as someone killing at least three people, with a significant amount of time between kills.
