Right? little shit, should have counted his blessings. He's only 8 years older than me, but shit at 16 if I wanted to go somewhere and my family/friends couldn't take me I had to either walk or (as of 2020 when I got my own place) take the bus. I'm 31 now and I STILL DON'T have a car but that's mainly because I can't afford it than anything. If I had the extra cash I'd have one, but for the time being it's not really even needed since I can take the bus or walk. Bus fare is only $1.00/round trip where I am so for me it's actually better not to have a personal car. A day trip down-town and home is $1 and pretty much that's the farthest I really go. Work is a 5 minute walk away as is my local pool. But this kid should have been glad his father was even willing to replace his car after he torched it given that he was suspicious and thought his son did it. My father would have said tough shit if he got me a car and I torched it. He sure as hell would not have replaced it

Let's all take a minute to commend Brian's younger brother for the useful and truthful answers he gave to investigators asking him if his brother would or could do such a thing. And I guess we shouldn't speculate too much, but it makes me think the little brother himself may have been a target for cruel treatment by his older brother on other occasions. Something just tells me he was well aware there was something seriously off about his older brother, even if he wasn't sure if he was a murderer or not. I'm glad he made it out of there before he became his brother's target for murder.

@@ndrklerz2178 I'm going to argue this point with you because of the fact that raising children is not an easy cut task of do this or do that to always raise perfect children. Also you may be thinking a little closed-mindedly on Leslie defending drug dealers (my reasons here is because my first job was a low paying fast food job and I got to talk a bit with these alleged drug dealers and its not as simple as you'd think). For some, people have to turn to drug dealing to survive, one of my managers had to do this raising three children who were too young to go to school by herself with very little support. She just absolutely could not both work and be with her children all at the same time, so she turned to what she could to get the money to keep her kids fed (which by the way all her kids are in school now and she is working a well paying factory job that covers her financial needs.) Additionally with this, some parents have other challenges that they have to face when raising their children, some cause difficulty with occupation, some may have mental problems they can't control, the kids may have some mental problems they can't control, its really wide open. So its incredibly possible for parents who are doing their best to accidentally raise a narcissist, I'd go so far as to say its not a rare thing. So you can't really judge Leslie here, there are way too many variables you don't know about to say what kind of father he was.

If im a fully grown man, and a teen neighbor knocks on my door with his even younger brother, and tells me someone may have shot in the house, im making sure that i either accompany that kid back to the house, with my gun if i own one, or better still keep both of them at my house until the cops get their. Im gonna go off of logic, and of what im sure the farher would want, which is for his sons to protected, ecen if it means potentially not being able to rescue me. That man just let a teenager say a shooter was in his house and just let him go back. Messed up decision because if it was an actual intruder he could have let the boy go back to the danger, and since it was a lie and he was going 5o kill his dad, that could have prevented it. I know the neighbor didnt cause this situation but if one of them was a healthy grown man i have to point that out.

right? I would of took what was offered. A used car is better than no car at all.this had to me I would have been out of luck. My father would NOT have been able to afford a USED car much less a new one. Dude should have been glad his father was able AND willing to get him a replacement at all instead of bitching about it not be brand new. Not everyone's father can afford a used car much less a new one.

Sure it can be done as this woman say. The individual has to be fit to climb to a second floor, but it definitely can be done. I saw a demonstration of something similar like in this episode where the person climbed to the a second floor without a ladder, and he did it . Poor Leslie Vaughn, was killed in cold blood for a stupid car being a young man only 44-years-old. Why Brian resulted to murder was atrocious. He should have gotten a used car until he was able to work and get a new one himself, and not Daddy’s. What is wrong with these young people and their “entitlement mentality” thinking they deserve everything that life has to offer without working??? It doesn’t work that way, people, nothing and no one will give you anything on a silver platter. No one, you have to work, period. Rest in Peace always, Leslie 🙏💐

At the beginning of the episode listening to the 911 call, just the way his son was talking made me think it was him. When he says "you know" and "right" those words were not said in a panic voice, it sounded like he was faking the panic but those words, just did not feel right. Of course then near the end of the episode, where he says there is blood... that was the clincher.

If you go down a few years, put the rest to the next car in 14-15 years. I think if you put up 200.00 a month, you'd have 54k in 15 years. Double that if you invested it.

@user-x57620fzmt2 жыл бұрын
He's guilty but to say that his little brother's answer to the question, "do you think your brother killed your dad?", was suspicious is kind of farfetched. That question already implied that the investigators were suspicious of his brother. If I were a kid, I'd probably say that I don't know either.
@danielkokal88192 жыл бұрын
a small boy talking to cops about his brother in trouble ? he's afraid to give the wrong answer regardless so I dont know as an answer makes sense. not suspicious. an adult saying the same thing would be more suspicious.
@patriciajohnson84532 жыл бұрын
The little brothers answer was very suspicious! If someone asked me if I thought my sister was capable of killing our mother, I would say "HECK NO" without any hesitation whatsoever. That poor child knew his brother was a psychopath. No doubt, he and his mother witnessed him having heated arguments with his father on a daily basis, they probably even heard him threated to kill his father, that's why when the detective told the wife that her husband was dead, she didn't even ask how or what happened, because she knew her son had killed his father.

Evidently Brian was not very smart. Told on himself before his father's body was cold. But I'd say it was probably not premeditated, just a moment of rage. Which makes him a danger to the public. I wonder where he is now. Said he was released in 2017.

All you need is the 911 call, he lied about the door being locked but yet he knows his father isn't bleeding yet. You can hear him breathing hard like he's in a rush, running getting rid of evidence . Told neighbors he already called 911 probably refusing to call from the neighbors phone as he needed to go back to kill his father.

This case highly resembles episode 20 from season 14 also known as “Funeral services” It was about Lonnie Senior Junior, who was murdered by his godson however, it was a theory that his son has something to do with his murder, though they never approved it and what was funny is I looked up that both of these men are from Texas and they died nine days apart from one another and an extra four years November 1 to November 10😭😭😭

Who kill his parents for a damn car??? That is unimaginable. But in this case, Brian did killed his Dad because he wanted a brand new car. A very spoiled brat who thought he was “entitled” to everything. 🙄 As this lady said, Brian was his own enemy and he contributed to his own conviction as a killer. He was his worse enemy. He left so many evidences behind that no wonder he was caught. I am glad he was found guilty and sent to prison. He knew exactly what he was doing when he killed his father. So sad that a good man lost his life because of his son evil actions. Very tragic. Criminals never learn, don’t they??? They will be caught sooner or later because of the advance in technology and Forensic Science. I am glad criminals still stupid enough to get caught. May Leslie Vaughn Rest in Peace 🙏💐

It is easy to climb to get into the balcony, it can be done easily. I saw a demonstration done on an episode how easy it can be done to get into the balcony, so it can happen. I am not saying this was the case but definitely anyone can climb to get upstairs in that balcony if they want to.
@addictedtothewrittenword3451 Жыл бұрын
It's not the climbing up that's the issue it's no footprint/indentation/imprint that's the issue. Even if you were barefoot you would still leave an impression in the grass. Also it would be a lot harder to make that climb with a heavy rock.

Sometimes detectives like prosecutors get on my nerves! In this case yes, Brian made lots of mistakes …..but when the prosecutor like a detective said that no one can climb up to the second floor of this particular house, it was nonsense. I saw a documentary where a guy was demonstrating how easy it is to do that, and he not only climbed to a second floor like in this house, he even went to a third and fourth floor! And this man was not a body builder, was not athletic at all, he was a regular slim man!!! C’ mon detectives, get with it. Because a person looks weird, or suspicious, or dress in certain ways, or look like a hippie, it doesn’t necessarily mean he or she is a murderer. Look at the mafia, they all are dressed in suits and ties and who the hell they are? All are scums killing people. These detectives and prosecutors as well, better get their act together. Prove that a person did murder someone, that’s all and don’t judge right away. “Don’t judge a book by its cover until you read between the lines!!!” Isn’t what the saying says??? Anyway, that said, in this case, Brian made himself guilty by all the mistakes he made being so young. I hope he learned his lesson when he is paroled, and I assume he is already paroled since we are in 2022. Poor father, he seems like a jolly fellow and did not deserve to die that way at the hands of his own son. May Leslie Vaughn Rest In Peace always 🙏🏻🙏🏻

The prosecutor didn't say no one couldn't climb up to the second, she said someone could scale the balcony if they were fit and in good shape.
@soraya377 Жыл бұрын
You forgot to consider he would have had to have made the climb with a 10lb piece of limestone in his hands. I don't care how fit you are, that's impossible to do! How did the victim not wake up from the glass shattering? When you add the most important piece of information, which is about how did the son know he was bleeding from the mouth, yet the door to his father's room was closed? The trailing of shattered glass from the closed bedroom door into the hallway. (Remember the perpetrator left the same way he came in, through the balcony). So no, it is not nonsense. It's never about one piece of evidence, it's about how all the pieces of the puzzle fit together that leads you to who committed the crime.
@zuzellogan5613 Жыл бұрын
@@soraya377 I stay strong and firmly by my words and I will not change anything I said, nor I will change my opinion about “Brian.” 🙄 I saw a demonstration that it can be done having a piece of stone or not, that’s it, end of the story. Do not try to excuse the behavior of investigators……sometimes they are too quick to point the finger. And do NOT DARE to excuse the behavior of Brian, he was an evil son who ended his father life for a friggin car! And if that is not evil, buddy, I don’t know what it is. Jesus Christ! Some people don’t get it, don’t they??? They always try to EXCUSE BAD BEHAVIOR. How old are you? I wonder 🙄🙄 toddle-lo I wouldn’t want you to be in a jury trial as a juror……the defendant will be free to roam the streets to commit more crimes with your stupid mentality. Lol 😂 😂😂😂😂😂
