I watch this video sometimes when I miss my childhood dog (aka Keisha) and always see comments asking what happened to her, so here’s the story: She was found on a gravel road by a woman after being kicked out of the van. That woman put an ad in the paper to try and find the owner but no one responded. Eventually she put another ad for a free husky and my parents responded. She came to live with my family (4 young girls) for several months before the police came knocking on our door to explain what happened to John. We were introduced to Margaret Helble who was kind enough to let us keep her, and eventually she became good friends with my family. She even babysit me and my siblings growing up and always came to see Keisha (we called her Jenna) throughout her life. She died a happy old dog in the country at the age of 13, and she was my best friend as a kid and a true hero. RIP beautiful girl. 💙

Not the first or the last time an animal helped solve a case. They are such incredible gifts we have. An excellent title for this episode. I was really bummed out hearing that they couldn't use Keisha's nose print, it would have been extremely cool. 😆I'm sure it would have been the first time a dog's nose was used for it's physical form, not the smelling function. This reminds me of S7/E7, of FF, 'Puurrrfect Match', it's another case that involved 'The Paw Patrol' providing evidence. I can't recommend it highly enough. It takes place on PEI, 🇨🇦 & 'The East Coast' or 'Atlantic Provinces' have it's own unique form of humour that should be experienced & there are a few opportunities in this case. Essentially, a cat named Snowball was finally taken into custody after resisting arrest by evading law enforcement & making the them scramble after her for half an hour before surrendering. Since she was a minor, she was read her Miranda Rights in the presence of her human guardian. 😄 The father, Melvin, of the victim, Shirley Duguay, is a hoot with great fashion sense. In this case, in order to prove the sample was definitively from Snowball, they just tested ALL the cats, in the PROVINCE. (Well, not the males. 😆).
