Dirty 15 Year Old VW Golf GTI Deep Clean and Full Detail | EXTREME FILTH WARNING!!!

This was one the most dirty cars ever that we have cleaned. This was also its first wash in years. Watch this disaster detail as a Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 30 gets transformed with a full exterior detail removing all the disgusting grime, mould and mud (not quite a biohazard though!) The end results are very satisfying!!! We almost abandoned all hope we could bring this back but the decontamination, wet sanding and machine polishing really restored the cars finish well.

Notes (thanks for watching as always and I do read the comments just cant always reply to all of them): a) yes in ideal world we could get the PDR guys timing perfect before we start paint correction but its not always possible so we have to do some tidying up. b) front headlights are being replaced with brand new Xenons so we didnt do much work on the old ones at customers request (it would be pointless) c) this was a 2 day detail essentially (had the car for longer but other work was booked in) d) if your serious about having work done please contact freshlayers for quotes. I'm telling you car detailing is on a complete different level then it was when I was growing up. Back in the 80s and 90s I had taken my car to different places that was supposed to be great at their job. I never received the results I was looking for. So that's when I started just doing it myself. Even with me doing it never seen good enough. You have to remember back then we didn't have the internet the only tips you could get was out of hot rod magazines and word of mouth. I think with the internet it really helped change what car detailing is today. I think what you guys did with this car was phenomenal. You're attention to every detail was fantastic. I really look forward to seeing what you do next.

My thoughts and hopes precisely. Anyone who neglects a car so much allowing it to get to that state doesn't inspire a lot of confidence though. Some countries like Portugal are quite rightly starting to fail very dirty cars on MOT. The Golf should have failed years ago for the perished tyre alone. It didn't get to that state overnight.

Can’t speak for the exact costs, would be great if they’re able / willing to share but from their website it says the “Supreme” 5 year durability coating plus; wash, decontamination, paint correction etc is £650 (~$900). But I’m assuming that wouldn’t include the alloy repairs.

I recently did a 17 year old fiesta that had been used as a builders car. That was in much worse condition than this one lol. I could have done so much more to it but in this game you do what the customer wants but do it better than they expect. A 20 minute video really doesn't show the amount of effort that it takes to get these kinds of results. It's hard work! Car looked great when finished and you could see the clients were well pleased. One thing I would recommend, and maybe you did it but it’s not on video, is polish and hydrophobic coat all the glass. It’s a fantastic add on. I’m here in the US, and I bought a Deep blue Mustang GT, and the previous owner did not take very good car of the paint. There aren’t any good paint correctors near me, and man I wish I could get this done to my car. Nothing better than a fresh paint correction! Love it! If you guys were here in the states, I’d take all my vehicles to you! Cant put a price on that.
