That was so wonderful to see Ivar running around with his cousins and to see your family, Matthias. I can feel your loneliness for your family, even though you have Tova's family close by. I hope, with you, that some of your family can come for Jul. Though it may not feel like you have enough progress on all of your projects, but we can see just how far you've come. Your videos are spectacular. I know it takes time and be assured that we appreciate the time that you take to share your lives with us. Sending lots of love.

I remember reading "Where the wild things are" as a kid and loving it. Even though our lives are so different there is something about Ivar's childhood that reminds me of me as a child. Obviously being brought up without electronics helps, it feels like my childhood over 30 years ago. Unfortunately my life hasn't continued being so beautiful, but it brings me so much joy seeing your life and everything it entails. These little slices of your life are sometimes the brightest part of many of my days. I wish you all the happiness and love :)

I think Tova looks very beautiful with the short hair, not in a pervy way. I'm a normal person I promise. It shows off her elegant long neck. I also thought that Ivar's Great Grandmother looks a lot like Tova, which I know doesn't make sense since they are not related. But I thought that she was quite a beautiful older woman, and that might be a glimpse into Tova's future! I'm a patreon supporter, and I have to say this week was definitely money well spent. Thank you for all your hard work and for sharing your wonderful lives with us all.

Dear Matthias - don't plan too much, it gives so much stress to be behind an imagined schedule. A two year old kid has a short span of concentration and is very inventive, and moves quickly all over the place, thinking highly of his own capacity, and wants to explore everything. Emil i Lönneberga is no huge exaggeration for a boy between 2 and 3, even if he doesn't explain all his ideas in words. Ivar is so cute and his clothing is adorable! One can feel that he is developing very healthily, you have done a greta job, you parents. Everythings will turn out fine if only you and Tova sleep enough! :-) Keep it simple, it is good enough! Yours is a high-quality life and has not to exceed any certain ideas. It is all a process and that's as it should be!

"It's great that Ivar was able to travel. He discovered road trips, highways, the city, the supermarket, the sea, the boat and a whole lot of useful things so far removed from your way of life. He discovers that all of this exists. And then a big and beautiful heated house, comfortable with light, and especially the family. It's magical to see her beautiful little eyes in awe of so many new and important things. This video is fantastic. You are so great parents and he is so cute! Your Drone flying skills are complete. I don't know how you flew through the holes in the gable ends without crashing. Can't get much done with a one year old but you sure have accomplished A LOT little by little. Good to see Ivar and Tova with the relatives in Finland. Soon Ivar will be running the video equipment AND the farm or ranch and driving you around. The videos of the children playing together was very sweet. Tova looks so much like her mother (or grandmother, not sure which. I think people age better there than we do here in California!). Things are progressing steadily on the farm. Do you plan on planting more Birch trees on the land? It is funny how the sheep, the rams I think, just come up to you for attention. The the "big guy" see the younger sheep getting petted and he wants attention too. They do seem to have personalities of their own.

I suggest making a book of Ivar's family. Print out photos of the important people, the places and glue stick them back to back, get them laminated with the really stiff stuff( went to office supply place) Got 2 stacked photos per page, cut them apart with good margin around photo so in one corner could put hole and keyring. It was really helpful when he was going to see people again or was talking on the phone. I know how hard it is doing things with kids around, loved when you stood him in a hole and gave him toys, that was brilliant.

Thank you for inviting us into your visit. Of course you needed your time away without work ... deserving. Ivar navigated his 'other life' so naturally and it was wonderful to watch him step along his way. The home tour was a great update, hope the new plants survive Tova. You live a purposeful life ... and I for one absolutely love your soulful videos. Hygge.

Watching the kids play was heartwarming. Really nice job on the cold cellar and flying the drone through the attic.

Beautiful video, as usual. Appreciate your sharing with us your time with your family in Finland! It was good to "meet" them virtually. No need to apologize for wanting to spend free and relaxing time with them without the concern for editing videos. That's what family time together should be, free and natural without "working." You have a beautiful family and so glad you all had an enjoyable time in Finland. Little Ivar seemed to have a blast! Hope you, Tova, and Ivar can see them all again very soon! Greetings from the USA.

I’m Finn and live in the states in New Hampshire. My niece went to teach in Finland and I’ve always wanted to visit but haven’t made it yet. My grandmother was from Haapavesi and grandfather from Karelia. I always wondered what it was like in a normal Finn home. I lived in Texas for 40 years but I was driven back to the tall trees and snow. Good luck to your building and getting it completed. Time does fly I’ve had to give my daughter my land so she can do what she wants with it because I’m getting old. I’m in my 60’s now and not in good health. My daughters are mixed race but they seem to have more of the Finnish qualities of life. They love the cold and the forest.I loved your video.

Thanks for sharing the visit to Finland and letting us see your Finish family. It made me realise I don't know what language you speak together at home, Finish and/or Swedish? Your English is good and it makes it easy for us English speakers to understand what you are doing. It's also lovely to hear you speaking together in the common language you share as a family.

Beautiful video, what a smart and cute little boy he is. Reminds me of my sons being young and going to the Steiner school with many natural wooden toys and lots outside☺️❤️

I enjoy these videos so very much with glimpses of life so lovely and different on the surface from my own but maybe not so different at a deeper level. I am feeling that connection I often feel when I am traveling to other countries and meet and get to know the locals. It is a realization that we are all really one.
