Is 44 pattern like the 58 pattern I remember?

The 44 pattern was different . The 44 water bottle cover had two studs on flaps that went over the water bottle shoulder , it worked. The 58 pattern was basically and oblong box with a lid which shrunk when it got wet making it a real battle to get the water bottle out many a squaddie cursed them
