I'm italian, I' ve never been in this fab hotel but I know dolomites very well because my family owns a small house in that gorgeous mountains. I have to tell you all that I'm so in love with them that I can't even think about a holiday in other places, expecially in summer, when our cities are scorching hot and all I want is some cool, forest scented breeze. To me dolomites are the best place in the world, just like a blessed, holy natural temple. God I'm so worried I will not go there this summer, I'm gonna start a new job soon... Please pray for me they give me holidays...

Breath taking. The morning air is just so crisp and the smell of nature around and quietness but only the sound of nature is very hypnotic. definitely recommend especially in winter hot coffee on the terrace in the early warm morning sun just makes it more amazing.

I've been hooked on mountains since I was a little kid seeing an absolutely awesome lightning storm in the Tetons! I've been hooked on both ever since. I've lived 60 miles or so from Mt. St. Helens for most of my life, it was amazing to walk out the back door a watch it go! More please!

Buffets are easy to navigate safely, as long as everyone has to wear a mask near food. Just ask for extra cutlery and use that to serve yourself, or ask for a glove. Fabulous hotel and a really great renovation.

Are you going to trust hundreds of people to wear a mask properly and keep their hands off the food? Half the people I see around wear their masks half way covering only their mouths. Most people are idiots, I don't trust them.

I was there in fall 2018 before the renovation. The 2-night stay experience was so great. The staffs especially the owners were nice and friendly. Sadly, the heavy snow was hit on the whole afternoon of our 2nd day so we didn’t have a chance to do the guided hiking with the hotel. The view was so stunning.

Just wash your hands thoroughly after each trip to the buffet. To have had staff serve would have been safer but perhaps a cost concern for management.
