Our trip was from September 15- 24th 2022. We brought winter jackets for going up to Lagazuoi. The hotel we stayed at in Selva di Val Gardena is called Hotel Acadia (their restaurant is really good). Sep 15- 24th, cold up in the mountain but not cold for us in the town area, we live in Canada where weather gets to -30 degrees so we thought the weather was nice there.

Hi I wonder if picnic is allowed in Seceda? Because I never once saw pic or video showing people having picnic up there 😅 And, I thought Alpe di Suisi only not allowing car to enter between 9 am to 5 pm, car was not allowed there before sunrise as well?...

I think the 9am - 5pm rule is only to the parking lot, from where you'd have to walk to Alpe di Suisi, there's no parking/ access right around the photography spot. Not sure about the picnic haha I'd think it's not advised

There is a paid parking lot: Compatsch, 50, 39040 Castelrotto BZ, Italy. Once you park, follow the google maps walking route to get to Alpe di siusi. :)
