It's all kicking off at mucky pup Aldo's gaff, but the Goon approach to community policing is typically heavy handed. Not a toss given for the fallout or collateral spatter from their heavy discharge - and those jackboot hobnails are going to knacker the flooring lol. It's hard viewing the trooper's 0:14 knee-flex spray of follow-up load into the grounded dad-type as the Sergeant takes care of the senior citizen, and it looks like the Hauptmann should have told his boyz to reign it in a little on the basis he's looking to probe at 0:21. "Soz about that guv" - check out the trigger-happy Sarge's solid default position and weapons handling at 0:28. A nice bit of banter-based interplay at 0:30 between Aldo and top grunt, and there's a wealth of priceless intelligence about the all-round strength and depth of the Goon squad and the peak match-fitness of their band of bro' troopz next!! That is fkn brilliant inclusion mate - not least for the primal boot-up 'n' lad-spread trooper pairing at 0:37, and where are those half-kit heroes off to at 0:48 lol?!! Show us yer Y's soldat at 0:54; an ace stance from him until he's pissed off by the tacker - it's so hard experiencing the sights 'n' sounds of his vocal submission to strong arm tactics, and how he cops a feel of Rock's length of steel before he's tugged off and ditched in a right fkn state. That's a smokin' hot pair of troopers at 1:20, but I've no doubt the pair of urchins could have bested 'em if they'd been minded to lol. Mind your f**king language at 1:46 Rock - the Goons are listening in. Sergeant 2:02 looks very fkn handy but flatters to deceive as '3 Slugs' Rock wastes him and his unarmed squaddie muscle-driver (love his first-take facials and the thick, spumy discharge after Hudson cracks another one off at 2:06). It's good to see Rock clearing up after himself as he takes the spent driver by the shafts and leaves him in a neat 'groin to groin' pile (initially at least lol) on top of his dead Sarge - and I fkn love the tw*t, top 'n' snap solution employed on the Goonz' reserve at 2:27. The venom in the rough brush-off at the death is the business, and I thought the urchin crew shrouding spent force 0:54 with his lid was a nice touch too lol. That is a crack Sergeant 'n' two trooper combo (Fritz 'n' Paul - it's always good to get on first name terms with the grunts lol) entering the fray at 2:58. The lad gets butted out after having a crack, but it's game over for the Sarge as he's taken from the rear and feels the steel deep inside at 4:19. Seeing Fritz 'n' Paul jog-on at 4:25 just heightens the impact as game-face Rock rises to the occasion to wipe 'em out as a unit with a searing burst of load; the on-the-toes 'n' cruciform turn finish on the right is superb and I can't take my eyes off the elite fallout as Hudson hurdles their bullet cratered corpses before returning to check 'em out. That is another truly outstanding deployment A; I rate 'Hornets' very highly (I know you do too) and I've definitely never seen these core Goon elements in such sharp focus before (even 0:54 looks like he does in that classic publicity still when he hits the hay - and the 0:30 et seq troop review has never looked so good). Thanks just ain't enough A - I fkn love everything you do!!

Yes, those are shockingly o.t.t. tactics from the hobnail booted (and sharply dressed!) raiding party and boy, do they take no prisoners lol. They definitely gave no quarter but you're right mate, if they wanted some intel they sure as fuck went a funny way about getting it (or not, as the case may be!). 0:28 just had to be the thumbnail J, for Goon, kit and weapon handling, though there was some "stiff" competition to be fair. That should have been a booking for intent at 0:30, going in with the knee (what a trooper though, and a killer smile!), and there was so much to admire in this little vignette in itself. No action, but who knows what goes on when the camera's turned off 😈?! 0:54's day has been pretty turgid up to this point it would seem but that wee interloper and his subterfuge brought a sharp intake of steel just below the left pec and it was goodnight from him, permanently. We've all seen that epic promo shot from this scene J and it's such a pity they didn't include it in the movie itself, but it's still pretty potent for all that. "Tugged off and ditched" he surely was J, and I know the feeling lol. The Goonz at 1:20 were seriously "hard" contenders for the thumbnail and it's easy to see why. They're in enough trouble as it is mate, given those nippers were distracting them whilst Rock and Aldo made a beeline for the radio set, and 3 troopers were gunned down and neck-snapped whilst these two chatted and chortled with Ant and Dec Italiano, without succumbing to a hit from the pair of 'em to boot lol. 1:46 is shocking language given there are kids about I agree lol. Rock sure as fuck dispatches the first pair of troopers through the door in no uncertain terms, with special mention for the driver and his acceptance of his brutal fate with aplomb. Great facials and I love that doubling up as his belly is pumped. The clearing up and positioning just after is impeccable (I do like neatness like this!) and that was nice 'World of Sport' Saturday afternoon wrestling handiwork just after as the last of the Goonz is neck-snapped with style. Where was Kent Walton when all this was going down (I'm showing my age here!!!!)? I found that nice touch with the lid over 0:54 at the end quite touching too lol. Yes, it's ace to get the personal touch with the entry of that doomed trio at 2:58 (I do like to put a name to a face lol). The Sarge was way too handy with the butt-end of his shooter and the lad took a sore one but that was the end for the Goon as one thrust of Rock's blade sent him on a one-way trip to oblivion. Fritz 'n' Paul are summarily executed in style with one sweep of Rock's MP40 and don't they take it in style, not least rechts, arching back and buckling whilst links folds and falls with equal impact? Nice hurdle from Rock and I do like his inspection of his handiwork right after. Yes mate, I love this movie too and will forever be thankful for it as it was this one that brought us into contact all those years ago. It's a Blu-ray copy this and it's so much clearer than the DVD version I used as the source first time round and I'm chuffed you rate the cut so highly. That troop review just had to be included btw, it would have been criminal not to lol. Thanks for another absolutely stirring and "uplifting" review J, as ever you do me proud and I am beaming!! @@foreverblueclassics Love the Goon blazin' squad's bulldozer tactics on such a soft target mate and I ain't at all surprised the Sarge got the thumbnail posting for his stance 'n' hardware presentation (or that the 1:20 boyz were hard on his heels) . Yeah - love that lead-with the knee lout and In my wildest dreams him and the entire match-fit section of half-kit troopers would have been annihilated in a 'no-prisoners' assault lol. It's so cool seeing the Blu-ray grade review of those troops (I'm steeling myself for the imminent drive-by) and 0:54 is one of the standouts of the entire film for me. I did have to look up Ken Walton big bro' lol - but I would have known his voice coz I used to tune into WoS as a lad to support the Goon-types playing bad boyz in the ring. Love the punishment those lads are taking (while the tackers have got the top 1:20 troops pinned down lol) and Rock's handling of #2 'n' #3 when they are spent forces. Load takers Fritz 'n' Paul (especially whichever of 'em it was on the right) do us proud at the death and I had to laugh when Rock told that swarm of tackers around the corpses to clean up the mess lol. I know what's coming mate - and I can hardly wait!! Thanks A; you're the best!!

@@goontroopz9047 I just wish I could put two thumbnails on the one vid J, it would solve all the problems lol. I'm with you on the scene that never was (we can't even console ourselves with the thought that these are the troopz later twatted by The Revenge of The Bairns as those were SS of course) but it's a sight so pleasing on the eye it just had to go in. You can see why they used 0:54 in the publicity still but I'm still gutted they cropped it down. Ah well, we have the still at least! I do feel old being able to remember Kent Walton but having checked him on Wikipedia there it appears The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, the Queen Mother and a few other big wigs were all fans so at least I had good company lol. 1:20 are so supper cool but you do wonder what their punishment will be post-twatting of their kameraden. Rock sure knows how to treat a Goon (soon to be seen to even more devastating effect in later scenes!). Fritz 'n' Paul were definite load-takers supreme and you're right about the orders at the end. He has no respect for the fallen, get them to fuck and let's move on to the next lot is his mantra lol. As should be! I love this movie mate and it's ace to have such a clear copy. @@foreverblueclassics Mate you were defo spoiled for thumbnail fit troopz here, especially in this superb Blu-ray light. I'd have even considered the classic down the Y's 'n' boot seams view of easy trooper 0:54 at around 0:59 (with Manneken Pis lad cropped out lol) as another reserve. Were it not for it's 'Strike' potential - the publicity still itself would have been a solid contender. Yeah - it's a pity that scene's been hacked/censored mate, but I've never seen the top-Goon look more like his claret-saturated publicity shot self than when he's left for dead in the haystack. Herr Walton might have commentated on Haystacks of course and I think I'd heard the House of Windsor (or Saxe-Coburg-Gotha lol) were wrestling fans back in the WoS days (I'll not mention frontman Davis's first name for fear of a comment block lol). Yeah - Rock defo knows how to handle a Goon mate. I think the endgame Goon troopers at the dam are Army not Skull? That being the case, I'll be thinking of the top 0:30 (that scene is Goon gold fella) gruntz taking loads amongst that bullet riddled mix. You're the greatest mate; thanks for having me here.

@@goontroopz9047 Yes mate, there were so many possible thumbnails and a montage might have been best lol. The publicity still of 0:59 is a classic and fit for a portrait in my book ha ha. Yeah, this is so much clearer than that grainy DVD version back in the day and it gives me hope that the same can one day be done for those classic GG episodes we rate so highly. I love the way the kids put his stahlhelm over 0:59's face as they depart - kind of touching, though they're really mocking the poor bugger lol. OMG, if we were to give Mr Davis his first name the ban-hammer would likely fall on us both on the evidence of yesterday J, so best avoided lol. The Goonz at the dam I'm pretty sure are Heer whereas in the soon to come revenge by the kids at the village it's the original massacre SS who get a drilling, and well deserved too. That should be the next clip from this one perhaps, I'll see. And you never know, 0:30 just may have been at that dam on the night?! The pleasure is all mine J, you are such a top lad and there's no one I'd rather share this with than you!

Thanks mate! Yes, this is just after the massacre of the villagers and the children (who survived by being away playing in the fields at the time) have taken an American soldier (the only survivor of a failed mission) and persuaded him (by coercion) to assist them in their revenge against the Germans. Believe me, what they've done in this clip is nothing compared to the revenge they are about to take on the SS troops who actually carried out the massacre!!!! It is a massacre in reverse!
