Hey, Vp. Can you do a video on the best brokers to use.
Most of things you have said about news media are correct, but keep in your mind if you trade swings, then you need to be aware of fundamentals due to the fact that major trends in any market including FX are driven by the fundamentals. It doesn't mean you drown yourself in round the clock financial news reports, but try to deeply understand the major events and macroeconomic statistics in order to correctly identify major trends and more importantly identifying trend reversals or corrections.

I never become profitable until I learned fundamental analysis. I'm not a dumb guy, my IQ is about 140. I tried my damnedest to make money using technical analysis. At a certain point, I bought a university level book on currency forecasting and the first time Implemented it, I became profitable. I still integrate technical analysis for entries and exits. But I found it very helpful to have an understanding of what was happening in the long term. So to each his own, do what works for you. I'm not saying that you can't make money on technical analysis, I'm just saying that it didn't work for me by itself and you should definitely learn FA either way as the knowledge is only going to help

fundamental analysis is kinda like the blue pill of trading, Technical analysis is king, the only thing about fundamentals you need to be aware of is that they just add more volatility to price action, that's it, so you need to know when some news will be released, other than that, stick to your analysis [technical!] and that's it, I also recommend you guys to watch a video by alesio rastani titled "The Secret that Top Traders DON'T Want You to Know" in which he also breaks down how fundamentals are BS!

So I watched what happened and also the sentiment IG site you gave, people were long on the dollar and gold and guess what the minute the news came out, but literally the minute, gold plunged and the dollar plunged and everyone I knew was saying after these news gold will go up, but it happend exactly the opposite, I was shocked, this just showed me that this is just another sign of bigger people (BANKS) manipulating. just wanted to share this with you, it was just another reason why I am a big fan of yours you absolutely make sense. you are really no nonsense. I developed over the years my own way of doing it, and it work for me most of the times. This might sound foolish, as i never heard anyone talking about this way of going into the forex market, but it makes sense to me! Foolish but happy, and not broke! That´s me! fundamental analysis is more than just trading red and orange folders. most of the time the market is already priced in by the time the numbers drop, based on speculation and market sentiment. chances are if FOMC is looking to cut rates in the next meeting because inflation is too high and growth is slow then investors will look to short the market. they aren't waiting for the news release to get into the market that doesn't make any sense. though i agree TA is important if you can understand the market sentiment it makes your TA a lot more easier. so a combination of both is what i suggest. Hi! Fundamental trader here. Simply put: You are wrong. You only talk about news channels and point fingers at the "Big Banks". But that's not fundamental analysis and fundamental trading. There is a difference between fundamental analysis and fundamental trading. They are not the same. Fundamental trading requires some fundamental analysis to get an understanding of the "big picture" and the ever changing market sentiment. Fundamental trading consists of a lot more than Bloomberg, CNBC, SkyNews, Forex Twitter, etc. These are in fact useless. Fundamental trading is complex and can be overwhelming at first and also dry more than so often. But it is essential. You can't ignore it. If you do, you are literally trying to run a business against a lot of competition without neither understanding the products you are buying and selling nor their market place. The only audience you reach with this kind of videos are desperate rookies and novices, who are still looking for the easy money.
@NoNonsenseForex4 жыл бұрын
Our audience is the opposite of the easy money crowd -- this shouldn't be hard to figure out. Like all the other naysayers, you don't know much about what this channel does or why. This channel has helped turn almost 40 "rookies and novices" pro, yet we still have these randos coming and telling us what we need to do. And there is nothing essential about fundamental analysis, regardless of how you define it. Algorithmic trading has already proven this.
@nuclearping4 жыл бұрын
@@NoNonsenseForex You can't be black or white here. You say FA / FT is useless, nobody needs it and TA is king. If you - and your 40 pros - are successful that way, that's great. And I sincerely mean it. There are probably as many ways to approach the market as there are traders. Everybody has a different look on the market. There is not only one "right way" to do it. You can be successful with TA aswell as with FA / FT, if you do it right. For me it was the other way around: I sucked at TA and did tons of mistakes, payed "the pros" and "gurus" for education and indicators, hung out with "like minded" people in trading / chat rooms, etc. and nothing worked. Since I picked up FA / FT I'm consistently profitable. Is it the "holy grail"? No. But it suits me, it works for me and it pays out. :)

Doesn't matter how you get there, as long as you get there. Well done. Our way works too, there are no absolutes.

@@NoNonsenseForex Yes, there are no absolutes. And that's why you shouldn't exclude or rule out one method per se. Here is a simple example of how you can intertwine TA and FA on the EURUSD: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJbZYpdnrLCSmNk - This case shows that FA and FT is not always complex or complicated. :)

Hello from JP, dont be dumb. Follow fundamentals track the News and all that stuff and its not too much dont make this thing that simple because its not THAT simple. Go with fundamentals because there will not ever be some technical stuff that will be stronger than fundamentals. Dont Listen to everything you hear try to learn from someone that you know He make it in Business.

So are you trying to tell me that the price of rand to buy a dollar goes up or down because of the big banks(is that it)? Want clarity
@NoNonsenseForex Жыл бұрын
It will affect the dollar, not so much the Rand. Not enough liquidity there usually.
@takalanimphathelesikhobidz9402 Жыл бұрын
Ok thanks, but is the strength of the rand to dollar regulated by the big banks or something different

False! You select your pairs with fundamentals and find entries in technicals ,both are important except you are lazy to do your homework
@TradingStudent4ever4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely correct, direction can only be finalised with Fundamentals - CONSISTENTLY. Technical trading is just helps you with your timing. Also, guys to get consistent in Forex Trading you need to understand the market, the participants and the market psychology (not unlike your psychology). Trading markets without fundamentals is like driving without a steering wheel. Stay away from such mentors.

I disagree, as a professional trader you get all the publicly available macro indicators to excel and build up a scorecard..and PREDICT what banks and big institutions, exporters-importers and govs will do. anything that rises your chances more than 50% - to 70% is valuable. Study macroeconomics, statistics and international trade to do it properly.
