Forge Splattershot Pro is Now REALLY STRONG in Splatoon 3?

Forge pro is like, one of 3 shooters I actually enjoy playing, so glad it's finally getting the buffs it needs! Wish we got more Booyah weapons, I'd love a Brella with Booyah Bomb if we do get third kits.

I personally believe that the splattershot nova weapons should have gotten the buff. It badly needs it. It's no wonder why *NOBODY EVER* use the splattershot nova weapons anymore, the splattershot nova is really that bad.

I personally advocate for it getting perfect accuracy mid-air, to match the space gun theming (and because there aren't any weapons that get MORE accurate mid-air, only weapons that charge faster mid air or are always perfectly accurate). It incentivizes an interesting playstyle and sort of works as an inverse S-Blast for the shooter class, plus with a small damage buff to make it a 4 shot (which it should be anyways let's be real), it'd be a really strong and flexible support weapon with a pretty strong, if risky, fighting "mode".

Literally my first reaction to the patch was “I should try forge” and it definitely feels good. Booyah bomb feels so much better but I don’t play enough pro to feel the 7% accuracy buffs but accuracy buffs are always good cuz consistency = good

It’s kinda fitting that they buffed proshot when I have been trying out the weapon lately for the past few months leading up to the patch. Maybe I’ll try to pick up on it again to see how much it fairs well since then, maybe also during the next seasonal Splatfest that’s coming soon too!

I might consider using this more now. Before I used to use Jet Squlecher but they took away the Burst Bomb which really sucks. I also think that Angle Shooter is useless so yeah.

I really wish you people would stop sleeping on regular pro. The number 1JP Player in Rainmaker X Rank uses Pro exclusively and abuses line marker/angle shooter like crazy.

Yeah, I main forge and I absolutely dread encountering a v pro in anarchy / X battles. They’re insane I hate encountering other forge players too but that’s cuz I feel more pressure to do well since it’s a lesser used weapon lol

I like suction too much to use V pro, I've also been using CRB a lot so I'm used to using kraken as a life extender and that helps with using booyah bomb.

The buff DEFINITELY feels really better now, but the real question I’m trying to figure out is in comp, which would work better? Buffed forge with booyah to destroy bubble, or 96’s less accurate but more powerful shots with kraken to just run through everything? I four stared both of them so I’m trying to figure it out myself…

They didn't nerf it. They toned down the paint spam and increased its mobility aspect, which in my opinion, is a buff for a lot of the weapons it's on.

I always like the Pro since Splatoon 1 and when I return in the next season, I will use the Forge for the S+0 grind.
