Hey dude I just wanted to apologize for having fun while playing splatoon but i really just love the fast paced mechanics of the game and in all honesty splatoon is my safe place to go and have a good time with my friends but of course once again im sorry and I’ll try to take the game more seriously… thank you for changing my mindset about the way I see splatoon my glorious king dude.

jokes aside, after the grand fest ive been seeing a TON of rank X players in my lobby, even for turf war, i dunno if its just me that has been noticing that like every match there is a 50/50 chance that at least two to three players are rank X, most had silver badges and a few had gold as well the problem is that i am not that great at the game lol, i havent touched ranked in like almost a year it might have to do with the fact that im rank S but if thats the case then that rly sucks

To be fair to the x rank players those who arent in top 500 at the end of every season must get S+10 to maintain it, so like it or not you will face them in the other modes, its frankly why i dont care for how splatoon 3 does it rank matches

I want to have fun in Splatoon 3, but soloQ "matchmaking" in Open has decided that I, a player who has never got to X power 2000 and maybe got to top 20,000 in X, must be matched only against players with greater than 2000 Power badges, gold silver and bronze streak above 2000 badges, and top 2k, 1k, 500, and occasional 10 badges. . I guess li'l ol' amateur me has "fun" padding the stats of all the pro players. 🤪 . Never have I played a game that has caused me to nearly simultaneously experience as much love AND hate for a game as this one does. 😅 . Yet I do persist, and even have fun from time to time. Mostly in Salmon Run, but still. 😁
