Google Pixel Flip: Coming in 2025?

I'm sure at one point, but in an interview from Mr. Mobile they didn't seem at all interested in making a flip. Google is more invested in their software than hardware at this point.

a bit unrelated, but i think the original pixel fold looks better than the pixel 9 pro fold (except the inner screen), the passport shape was amazing and the name was simple, i don't know why they changed so drastically the thing.

Tensor 1-4 has been awful for the Pixel lineup. They should've stuck with Snapdragon.

"tensor has been awful" no you have just been too stupid to listen to fake benchmarks and reviews I had some troll try to tell me the Tensor G4 isn't that good and was as bad as a iPhone 12 I benchmarked it myself with the app and it showed that the tensor G4 is only 3 points below a Snapdragon 8 gen 2 so y'all are crying over fake benchmarks 😭

I think the big thing Google can nail on these flip phones is the cameras. With Apple not in the game, they could get to the top in video as far as clamshells go. At least getting two high resolution cameras would be great, maybe that 42MP selfie camera on the inside, and if we could get both an ultrawide and a telephoto in there (most clamshells only have one or the other), I think Google could nail it.

Not sure why they should continue the a series for slab phones. The pixel 8 and 8a are almost identical minus some materials used

Fake benchmarks don't realistically count you cant benchmark a demo phone and use it as actual specs vs the official drop 🤣
