Nice vid, but I’ve gotta say you have completely missed the point of the fuel points program and the power of the double fuel points. You didn’t do the math when you said “you spend $250 you get 50¢ off gas so don’t even worry about it.” Sorry, but that alone is the MOST valuable reward the card offers. You can use up to 1000 fuel points a time off gas purchased at shell, which equates to $1.00/gallon. If I fill up my car with 20 gallons of gas once a month I will save $20 off my fuel bill. I had to buy exactly $500 of groceries to get that-that rewards rate is equivalent to 4% unlimited cash back-and I don’t even have to use the Ralph’s card to pay for the fuel to get this. I can use a Verizon Visa or a AAA card or whatever that earns 4-5% on top of that. My GM card earns me 11% on first $1500 in fuel for example. If you get this card and the free Boost membership that comes with it and buy your groceries at a Kroger store every month you will earn a greater benefit in fuel points ($240 a year in my example) than you will in that 5% mobile wallet ($150). And you really don’t have to do anything to get it. lf you have a family or have at least two people in the household it’s pretty easy to spend $500/month on groceries. And unless you have only EVs you need gas-just buy the groceries at your local Kroger brand and make one of those fill ups at a Kroger station or at Shell one time a month. It is an extremely lucrative card and dismissing the fuel scheme means you still haven’t grasped its full value prop. It’s even better than you think.

Damn thanks bro I guess the fuel program can be good. I’ll make sure to pin this

@@daniel.sparks I second the comment about the fuel points. However, fuel points are different from store to store. The Harris Teeter ones are good for discounts on fuel at Amoco, BP, and Harris Teeter fuel centers, but not at Shell.

Ok you made a solid argument help me with this math. I buy beans at Harris teeter with my brother in law phone number he's a manager at Harris so I end up saving About $.20 cents to $.40 per bag but I don't get to use the points for the gas. So am I better off saving those 20-40 cents per bag using his discount but not buying the gas. Or am I better with just not getting the discount at the store for the beans but redeeming the points for gas only? I usually buy like 30 bags of beans per week.

@@guaparra2I would need to know the total cost of the bags of beans you buy per month BEOFRE the employee discount you are using to tell you this.
@guaparra223 күн бұрын
@@chrisinsd4590 I usually save 10 to 20 cents per bag. I buy it about a hundred bags every month
