Would a 3/4” coil spring work if I don’t plan on making anything over a 3lb hammer?

Where did you get 1” coil spring??! I haven’t found anything that size….maybe 3/4” at the largest!

Rock crusher. I have 1.5” diameter coil spring from rail cars.

Thanks for showing your tooling. I've got the same press. You don't have any trouble with the the dies hanging over the base? I've avoided making tooling like that afraid it wouldn't be Rigid enough
