Simple design. Effective. Beautiful. One question, though. I thought the edge of the blade was a lot thinner?

A masterpiece. Only I would prefer the blade a bit shorter, but that's personal taste.

Would like to point out pommel and the guard were actually hollow on real viking swords because it's too damn heavy to actually use if it's whole metal. I don't know how they made them, but you can look up some museum pictures.

Good point. Perhaps he doesn't use steel but some lighter alloy. Looks like steel though.

You've got to tell me how to buy one of these Bowie knives from you I'm getting one of these electric e-bikes that are half motorcycle half mountain bike and I live in the Cascade Mountains you get a lot of wildlife out there I need some protection I can carry I think the police would frown on one of your swords a Bowie knife would be a better

What's the purpose of grinding the cross cuts (10:30) and drilling the dimples (13:00)???
@ibrahim-sj2cr4 жыл бұрын
it makes the pattern by mixing the different layers of stel together. the acid then etches one of the layers he stacked and it turns back. its called damascus steel, it becomes stronger and more durable as skilled artisans fold and twist these metal layers together to create a one-of-a-kind pattern.
