The steel material for Japanese knives is Yasugi Specialty Steel, which was developed by analyzing Katana steel. Yasugi Specialty Steel is used for a variety of purposes, including knife steel, high-grade kitchen knife materials (Kai Corporation, Zwilling), razor materials (Gillette, Schick, Wilkinson razor steel), automobile parts materials, automobile engine parts, aircraft engine parts, etc.

The word "forge" is used correctly in the title to refer to the smithy itself, although the piece of equipment is also a forge. "Forge" is also a much more common word in North America to describe a blacksmith's business than "smithy" is. English is not the same everywhere.

Im no engineer but judging by the forge and the building that in that its not 200 years old,and yeah they could move a 200 year old forge to a new building but that forge is fed by gas ffs and its NOT 200 years old,whats with this channel lately?.
