Our Science Saturdays were deeply inspired by Grant Thompson. We melted metals and cast them. We made a solar focusing fresnel lens frame. Bought and built a cryo-cooler for LN2 production. Gutted dozens of microwaves for transformers for several projects.... Made salt from sodium metal and chlorine gas... and many more great experiments.. Good memories. 👍 Thanks to GT once again, your legacy is shining bright...❤

Seeing this videos title immediately got me excited to watch again! It's so wonderful to see Jaymen (who looks so much like his dad!) continuing Grant's legacy. I've been subscribed for over 10 years in his memory, even though I never watched the content after Nate and Callie left. Jarom gives a great first impression and I look forward to seeing more! I'll always miss Grant's voice though.

Thank you to the moon and back. Thank you for listening to us. Thank you for bringing back the experiments and DIY projects that represent what The King of Random really is. I'm so happy I couldn't describe it. I watched this channel since 10 summer party tricks. Grant made me fall in love with exploring and learning how things work and now I'm studying engineering. I just have one small request. Since the old stuff is getting back, PLEASE restock and promote Grant's book. Now it's perfect time for it. All the best for new host and the team! #StayRandom❤

Thank you so much for the response. Thank you for caring what we think. Grant always replied to the community in the past when he had time and I'm glad to see you are doing it with this change. I really hope the true fans and people who supported Grant will recognize this and bring the viewership back where it belongs. I will share it with everyone I know for sure. Glad to know that you liked the idea for the book. As an international member of this community I just wanted to ask you guys to maybe work something out with international shipping, since shipping from Amazon is really expensive (around $80 USD in my case unfortunately) and I know people from overseas would love to buy it too. All love and support!

👍 wonderful job guys, and yes full video is something i would watch (speeding it up in some moments is another wonderful idea), as for a suggestion to me personally would be interesting a diy electricity genertor for emergency or for places where there is no grid would be awesome (something to run the house with, a fridge a computer a small heater or washing machine...not all together of course except the fridge that would be always on...yes its definitley not easy and definitley a bit dangerous and no i am not suggesting it to be "free energy bs" just something that could be useful and relativley easy and cheap to make) happy to see grant's son is doing good, but dont put any pressure on him I loved grant's work, but its the work people are interested in, we kept calling to him because till now no one has managed to continue his work the way that he was doing, if his son wants to learn and continue what his father did well thats awesome but again no pressure (i know you didnt put any but just saying) =)

I like the direction and style of this video is going, almost a back to grass roots. That said I also understand from a business perspective why TKOR changed the way it did given the circumstances of how YTs algorithm was forcing content creators to do thing to maintain a viable status. That said, I absolutely love that Jarom is taking a kind of Bill Nye approach with breaking down the more "Sciencey" aspects into easier to understand concepts and also explaining how to do things safely while letting Grant's kid do the work. It touches on most if not all the main ways of learning. All in all a good video. I look forward to what's to come
