I totally miss the days when most homes were carpeted. It's much more comfortable to walk across a padded carpet than it is on a hard floor, although I can understand why people wouldn't want it in the bathroom. But one current trend that doesn't make sense is wooden floors in the bathroom. Tile floors are much more suitable for a damp environment.
