For Qin Shi huang, seeing the reception for the original design, in one of the ones oneshot Manga released on the Typemoon magazine, the old design was confirmed to be his PHH Design (Pan Human History), with an ability to summon the Terracotta Army.

So both are true, the first one is based on historical descriptions so it fits perfectly with PHH, however the second one is intended for a lostbelt, a pruned timeline that diverged from ours, so it makes sense mushroom man had to ask for a recast, after all the Qin we summon is a lostbelt king not the PHH emperor of china

@@davidoshare-su4hn Heck, the Qin we meet doesn't even have a human body, or even a humanoid one until the very end. Him being basically the same, but youthful and without facial hair isn't exactly a massive stretch.

actually.. it was Urobutchi SIN is a special chapter with guest writer Gen Urobuchi and he pretty much got free rein for the servant in there.. which is why we got 2 centaurs in a single chapter on top of mothman

Would've been cool if they used the the original Cernunnos as the skeleton of the fluffy one after festering and brooding on all that curse after all that time. Imagine we see the fluffy Cernunnos first and then when it's revealed rotting flesh sloughing off to reveal the skeleton of the cursed dead god.

That gothy version of Miss Crane would be an absolutely cool Halloween variation. Like she could just make herself that as a Halloween costume. Or they could make it like some really cool Halloween 4 star or an alter.

Blavatsky and the first cernunnos design are missed opportunities. They couldve made cernunnos lose his fur after some break bars and reveal that nightmare fuel of a design. Nlw that i think about it it looks like it could fit in an eldritch horror game

Honestly I think it's just a matter of which matter helena is aligned with at the moment, its either the occult being the one we got or a military background being the first draft

I feel like it would fit with what we’re told about him. Cuz like, the Cernunnos we see just a rotting corpse animated by the curses of the land. This design looks like something spindly and hateful.

I still think that Helena's original design should be reused perhaps as an alter version or another class.

8:03 Cernunnos 3rd design was kinda used at the end of LB6 part 1 I think, when the Calamity of Norwich appears, that second design tho...they could've included it in the bossfight, it's sooo good

Miss Crane early design is really good maybe we'll get a Miss Crane Alter with a design simmilar to her early design who knows and imagine early design Cernunnos spinning with Baobhan Sith on top it would be quite funny imo but it also makes me wonder how the first assencion and NP of Summer Baob would be like if they went with early design Cernunnos

As cool as Helena's scrapped design was, I think I prefer the design they ultimately went with. It just suits what she's all about way better so they made the right call.

I think the military look for Helena had as much to do with her planned role in the story (North America) where she was a military officer as suspected real world connections. Giant mech Tez would be cool but did not fit his vibe at all and could've made the third ascend feel like a different person. Also we were explicitly told that Tez had to use a human body to be summoned by Daybit and uh dont think a mech qualifies? Could've been a cool boss fight though. I love the old Qin Shi Huang design but it didnt fit the story of LB3 so makes sense that Nasu would demand the ageless version in his prime forever. I think Kukulkan using the dino design would've worked against her story and hurt the Arcueid parallels. Making her human because she's the dreams of the "humans" given form makes sense (Even if those humans were dinos). Design becomes too abstract to the story if it's not so human. Cernunnos has to come off as innocent. His death had to feel unjustified and hurt the players and the design needed to reflect that he was a kind harmless god. I wish we only got that form in flashbacks though and had the disfigured corpse form when he woke up. Would've made a really cool parallel with the third ascend of Baobhan Sith, the other half of the curse calamity. Black Crane would be a fun alter to use in the event and wow she is gorgeous.

They could still use Blavatsky's early design as an Alter or an Alter Ego. Nothing really stopping them for milking them.

As some others already mentioned: The more grounded, human appearance of Qin Shi Huang Di has been adopted as his historic Pan Human history form (and thus, also his original form before he started to turn into a super computer that later designed humanoid terminal body for himself). It might also be worth looking into the Type Moon Ace / Chaldea Ace articles that have designs for historical versions of of some of the people we only get so see in different forms in FGO (e.g. Babbage outside the steam mech, human Eddison, middle aged Wu Zetian, male Minamoto no Raikou, etc.) for another video.

Wanna know how f**ked up situation was in Lb6? Only 4 cursed arms were enough to raise Koyanskaya's rank to a Beast Class 9 Tail Fox. Amaterasu has a Total Mana level of 328 Million Units while Sefar has a Total Output of 300 million Units. The cursed made Koyanskaya so strong that even she can't handle her own power,Corrupted her Primordial Chaos raised her Rank enough that she was essentially Gaia's Soul replica like Archtype Earth and still F**k up her Spirit Origin Completely that she had to Adjust her Own Body and Created the reality Marbles to control that Curse.

Iike ive always been picky about how the mesoamerican servants are portrayed. Like Quetzalcoatl got the pass for me since her outfit was decently accurate, so i excused the genderswap. Tho now seeing the sketches with kuku's different hairstyles and reptilianne features or even some of the outfits that looked interesting. she could have been more interesting rather than just have shiny green hair and generic sexy almost naked look. Tho my main gripe was with tez's design. Like i like the modern look he has was exactly what i wanted but wow did they drop the ball with the other two. Like yeah make him wear a cool plug suit since he rides the mech but the second ascension just looks bad. Plus the third looks like a really bad Hollywood costume of what they'd think they wear at the time. Like yeah just have him in the mech, we already have ivan and kingprotea so who cares if it was big and dumb. It would have been cool

I don't know what Tlaloc really is since she's a pretender, but at least 2 of her ascensions match the setting, the 2nd one...I don't know

@Fermin-hw5pd well the 2nd ascension is supposed to be tlaloc. 1st is huitzilopochtli and last is the city tenochtitlan. Like i dont mind the modern look and tlaloc is usually depicted with a mask with goggles and fangs so i can kinda understand why they wouldnt know what to do for that. What i cant explain, why 2 male gods and a city = an anime girl. Like when i first saw them, i thought it was going to be chalchiuhtlicue the 4th sun and the wife of tlaloc, so it could have been shes pretending to be them but i guess not. Also with her mooncancer form. Its mostly based off of mexico meaning moon navel. Also theres a story where the moon was shining as brightly as the sun that a god through a rabbit to darken it, leaving a rabbit print. Hence, her bunny outfit.

So we have Tez who has only really one good form his orignal modern look with very ugly looking jaguar suit ntohing like the designs of his warriors or the mountain lord Tepeyollotl and then a third form which while a step in a good direction lacks any of the exaggerated or intriqute peices the clothing is known for and still lacks his smoking mirror. Him being a big bone mech would not be any better sure it is cool but after the 15 mech np and mecha callback character it kinda takes away from a series about mythology and magic. Then Helena an esoteric mystic who spread her occultism to those who knew little of the cultures they pulled from and fused together but her current design is way better than her concept which doesn't represent her and her legacy at all but being mostly based on a single minor anecdote of her life, The First Emperor while a nice design it is betrer they went with something that fit their lostbelt design though it could always come back to represent PPH. For Kuku she really is not Kukulkan but a deity of similar to the Mayan sun deity Kinich Ahau yet neither of her designs really go far enough to represent all she is in the lostbelt one of the most disappointing designs showing a lack of understanding of mezoamerican myth and showing a lack of creativity for their waifu bait besides a few lizard features, monster fuckers would be ashamed. Miss Crane early design just doesn't represent the folk tales very well, her final deisgn was perfect for her as a character. The bloated corpse of Cernunnos lossing itself and becoming a host of curses the design works for what it is. Overall i'm glad an intervention happened with most of these servants as they ended up for the better of the consistency of what the character is meant to be.
