This song really resonates with me on an emotional level, because I was very disappointed and frustrated with how high school ended. I was trying to find fullfillment with the acceptance of my peers. When I finally did get it, I felt empty and confused about what to do next, because I realized at how pointless it really is and I didn't know what to do with my life. So when I went to college, I decided to join a Christian community to help me grow spiritually. I have met some of the wisest, friendliest, loving, and accepting people that I have ever met in my entire life. Now I am the happiest and most satisfied I have ever been. I am so excited to see what the future looks like with my walk with the lord. If anyone is reading this and is currently going through a hard season in their life, just remember that it's meant to build your character and prepare you for what God wants you to do later in life. In the end IT IS WORTH IT!!

A few years ago around November my grandpa died. I don't process my emotions well and I just had to do something. I started cleaning and but on my playlist of Christian songs. This song played and it really help me get through it. It's been I think 2 years since then and anything time I hear this song it reminds me of him and that It's Not Over Yet. Today when I was walking out of my school to get picked up, I saw all of the theatre kids going to rehearsal. I tried out for the musical a month ago, and just figured out I didn’t get in it at all, and neither did any of my friends. I was really looking forward to it, and the whole experienced sort of crushed me. I’ve been feeling worthless, and doubting myself ever since. When I saw those kids going to rehearsals I felt horrible, and thought about how I would give anything to be going with them. At that very moment, this song came through on my headphones and said “It’s time to put that in your past”. The whole song really spoke to my situation after that, and I just realized that I couldn’t let this define who I was, and that it’s time for me to move on. Isn’t God awesome?

Thank you brothers for this song! I'm a prodigal who has returned after 17 years of darkness. I used to always throw up my hands and feel that I just wasn't able to win the fight. Jesus saw me in the darkness and pulled me out. He put on me the best robe and threw a feast for me because I returned to Him. Until the day we die it is a fight to keep the faith! The patriarchs of our faith made that quite clear. The last few days I have had this song ringing in my ears because I have hit my limit, too many times. Jesus is faithful and powerful! I'm crying a bit rn... I randomly came across the spotify commentary for this whole album, and had it just on playing in the background while I rested and read a book. But suddenly the commentary for this one came on and I was startled. His little sister has Lyme disease?! And he wrote it for her! I have been struggling with Lyme for 4 years! In fact was feeling down today about it, exhausted. I search the song again and listen to the lyrics with a new perspective, regardless of the fact I have been listening to For King and Country for 7 years. This song now has a very personal and new meaning to me, and I am thankful for it. I started tearing up because so many times I feel like there is no hope, and this felt like God was using this song to speak to me.
