Shirley, at the end of their song O God Forgive Us they explain the concept of running wild: "To risk everything. To hold nothing back. To lay it all on the line. Your reputation, your success, your comfort. It's that moment when fear is overcome by faith. " So the definition "uncontrolled or unrestrained" makes sense. They are talking about and unrestrained faith and love for God. Another definition is "passionately eager or enthusiastic" which I think sums what our relationship with God should be all about. I didn't honestly understand it at first, what running wild had to do with being a Christian, but I was seeing in a negative light.

***** I totally agree with you. There is a lot of "Christian" music out there that is destructive. Skillets "Monster" for example. Incredible songwriting but there singing about demon possession. But I would have to disagree with you on "For King and Country". What part of "Run Wild" Contradicts God's Word? What about "Fix My Eyes", or "Shoulders", or even "The Proof of Your Love".
