I'd watch Matthias play with it for longer than I'd like to admit. Love the idea and when it lifted that big rock I was sincerely impressed. Didn't think the motor were powerful enough. If it came in a kit I'd buy one :D

It doesn't entirely add to the discussion to say so (although to which discussion I refer, I do not know), but it is still worth saying aloud (literally, as I'm dictating this) that you are a wonderful human being. Of course, it stands to reason that you could be an evil lunatic off-camera, but what you do, the manner in which you approach it, and how you present it to the world, combined with the dedication you've demonstrated, tells a very different story. should remake that tilting bar into a gear and toothed bar style, may stop any jamming, and a little rubber adheasive strips on the tracks should give it a tad more grip and help when forcing the bucket under things, makes me want to break out the old r/c stuff and start building things lol

The wooden braces were on the forks before they were cut... You can see them at 0:55 then they get cut on the bandsaw at 1:07 .. I like that!.. it's like MAGIC! The Amazing Matthias!
