Great job! One amateur question: I have read that at the Big Bang the universe came from NOTHING, while at other places it is said otherwise: there was a "DOT" out of which the universe expanded. What is Your view on this as an astrophysicist?

The idea is that it came from quantum fluctuations. They happen even now. It certainly didn't come from a dot. I'm not a cosmologist - my studies in astronomy related to binary stars.
