It was covered - I saw it on a CNN video, and I'm pretty sure the panelists mentioned and discussed it. I just think it was drowned out by Trump's unbelievable act of treason just moments prior. It was pretty much a given Putin had interfered, but to have the POTUS stand on the world stage and say he believes the paper thin cover story, *that* moment was so appalling, it gained a lot more traction in the news cycles that followed. But yeah. Hot on the heels of Trump's abasement, Putin happily pulled out his dick and waved to America with it. He most certainly did. Probably the highlight of his entire career, that moment in Helsinki, when he got away with telling the world he ordered the "support" for Trump while the US President was in the midst of speaking treason. That's what happens when you put a dim-witted reality TV star alone in a room for two hours with a highly trained KGB agent, kompramat or not.

Brennan wasn't even accused of "treason" when they revoked his security clearance. He was accused of peddling his clearance to make money appearing TV and writing books - which is almost as stupid of an accusation, but not "treason" stupid. And to be clear - I don't even like Brennan. His CIA acted above the law on multiple occasions during the Obama Administration, and he was never taken to task enough for the CIA spying on Senate computers, which no one in either party seemed particularly interested in investigating, beyond Dianne Feinstein. You can thank the encroaching bipartisan security state that emerged post-9/11 for this state of affairs. Of course, this has fuck all to do with why Trump actually revoked his clearance - he revoked it because the mean man was always saying mean things about him on the TV, and Trump has thin skin like a newborn fish.

The CIA has always been the dark arm of the presidency and John Brennan used to dictate the CIA's kill list under George W. Bush. Yes, he is a war criminal.
