Not saying theres no chance you arent right, but he did cover this in an earlier interview and did acknowledge the agency has done some shady and outright nefarious stuff in the past, but it doesnt really work that way anymore. As for me personally? I wouldnt be shocked if what he said about that isnt totally true, but also not shocked if it is. I have a close relative that was in military intelligence, according to him the whole thing is far more mundane and benign than anyone would ever imagine due to books, movies and tv shows.

And I was thinking about my reaction and... he's a former SPY, right? So by nature he's a liar and a dissembler. So manipulation is ingrained in him. I think he does have a habit to rapport build (to get you to like him), to claim expertise (he did this his whole career, feigning he was one role or another), etc... So he lures you in with some interesting stuff you've never heard of (ie, we all liked the Myers Briggs) but the more you listen the more you realize he's just like any other guy...

He has repeatedly stated that he was hired to work on A , one UFO with other engineers that each only work specifically on one area and could not speak to the others about what they were working on. @marblegarden8456
@marblegarden8456 3 жыл бұрын
@Ethan Horst Because the initial comment made by Deon was that this guy is being treated as though he has intelligent perspectives or expertise in other realms, that aren’t necessarily related to his work for the CIA, such as national economics, or political ideologies and their broader implications on a given society. Deon concludes that this is because of the “halo effect”. Your response was that, in fact “if you possess the intellect that he does, you do know a lot about everything” and that “it’s just kind of the way it goes”… This is not accurate, the audience really knows nothing about the depth of this man’s knowledge in these other areas, except for the views he espoused on subjects that weren’t even related. You just confirmed what Deon said, that people are using the halo effect to validate this man’s ideas on subjects unrelated to being CIA. My comment, was then to point out that if you had the formal education to think critically about his statements, you would have noticed that it was impregnated with sophisticated ideological statements that went entirely unchallenged. To someone like myself with a lot of formal education (I got my first degree in sociology, minor in psychology and philosophy, followed by a law doctorate), this was obvious. Whereas you, given by the statements you made, seemed to accept everything he said because he ~possesses a great intellect. Well, you should not accept all the biased claims he was making on face value, merely because he seems to possess “emotional understanding” or is ex-CIA. It is completely not the same thing, and I would contend that it is a lack of knowledge and critical thought which allowed you to take on the halo effect, to not catch all the covert ideological bias he intentionally injected throughout his conversation, and which was entirely unnecessary, unchallenged and therefore suspect. Deon did notice this, and I could go through COUNTLESS examples from the video. But whatever, call me names when challenged, it just proves my point further that you could benefit from more education. Now if what I’m saying “has nothing to do with what you said”, then that would be because you didn’t understand what Deon was saying… So I hold my position regardless.

I kinda thought that but I also found a lot of this to be very interesting explained in a seemingly simple straight forward manner. It actually was enlightening imho. Don’t forget he has to be very careful what he says while having a fluid conversation and is clearly very good at it and charismatic to boot… however NY has a shit ton of potholes and some places do have funky water and clearly could use some help. Meanwhile my area is near one of the highest property value areas in the world yet traffic is horrific and cell service is even worse so go figure. Too bad we can’t get the labor force we need to fill jobs usually filled by immigrants that are having a harder time than ever getting here, since most large independent employers here rely on them implicitly. First off, there is no such thing as a "CIA Agent." Field operatives are called Case Officers.
@2K9s
@2K9s 2 жыл бұрын
Second off… Agents, also referred to as CIA officers, collect information through human and other sources, evaluate intelligence in regard to national security, and coordinate with other agencies or departments to collect national intelligence outside the US. 3rd… Agent 101. In contrast to CIA officers, a CIA field agent is a native of the country about which the case officer wants intelligence. A field agent may know only that he has an American friend who works at the U.S. embassy, and who asks about his life and work. 4th… The media and public constantly refer to members of the Central Intelligence Agency as "CIA Agents." This is grossly misleading, amateurish and a source of annoyance for those in the profession. Typically, when people think of the CIA, they are referring to the "Case Officers" of the Clandestine Service. These officers are primarily tasked with the identification & recruitment of foreign sources of information. These CIA "Officers" run clandestine operations to manage confidential sources and obtain valuable information in furtherance of national security objectives. In intelligence parlance, foreign sources of information are called "Agents." For obvious reasons highlighted in the aforementioned paragraph, it is highly insulting to call a CIA "Officer" an "Agent." By doing so, you are relegating the government civil service to the status of a foreign confidential informant. …. Conversely, the federal law enforcement community (which is very different than the intelligence apparatus) is composed of Criminal Investigators that are titled "Special Agents," which at times is shortened to "Agent" in common usage. Referring to a "Special Agent" as an "Officer" is similarly a no-no since officers in the federal law enforcement world are a completely different job series (i.e. CBP OFO, ERO, Uniform Division, etc.). Relatedly, the CIA does indeed have an Office of Inspector General (OIG) that is comprised of a small number of criminal investigators. They have a limited counterintelligence mission and are indeed 1811 Special Agents. However, these agents are NOT involved in covert source operations. Knowing the difference between these terms and their proper usage will serve you well during your interactions with potential employers. Do not be the applicant who makes this "fashion" mistake!

They didn't mention UFOs once.... Edit At the fucking tail end. And of course the spook discredits Bob Lazar by changing details of the story "I'm the only one who can reverse engineer" is the opposite of anything Bob Lazar has ever said. The character assasination by disinformation, spreading the story in with his exaggerated narrative to discredit him his hilarious. I'm not even a Bob Lazar guy but I just find his intentionally retelling the story with a certain narrative is interesting... Another example. He says "Why would they be tapping his phone if they put him in charge of the project". Bob never claimed to be in charge of anything, they were paired together and segregated to keep anyone from having all the pieces. You would think the central *intelligence* agency would get the facts straight on their narrative. I've only seen him on Rogan/The Documentary and heard him mentioned in some other UFO docs.

UFO's are being spotted, written and reported about even before the bible(indian records), so, yeah, those ain't no US drones. Besides that, you got a phone on you, like 99% of people in the world, there's a camera and a mic on it they can hear and see WTF you're saying and doing where ever you go IF you're important enough or they find you interesting. That same phone's got a GPS ability. And nothing you erase is really erased. It just gets uploaded to their main super PC in Sveden and if you want stuff back you got to ask THEM if you can have YOUR pic's back, and they can but don't need to give it back to you, as it's their property now. @@christopherm5958 Hes doing the whole spinning a narrative and ridicule it. And you can see how he does it. For example calls it conventional. There is nothing conventional about an object doing these kinds of moves. He says why is it detectable by radar like its intentional, when its more like why would they care if they can move like that. We cant intercept or catch them according to the reports. So its all about framing like people say global warming is wrong, because the arctic ice is gaining billion tonnes of ice, which is true, so how come its called global warming. It's because it goes in cycles, and in between there is more ice melting then it is freezing up again.

I got 5 mail in ballots sent to my UPS store box, prefilled with a voter name (all different and not mine), ready to be sent in after you checked the box of your preferred candidate. The box is in a zip code where its almost entirely blue, a battleground state, and has no ID laws. This is why there was "record voter turnout", not links on Instagram.

21:43 I went from being an extravert as a child to being an introvert as an adult. I used to HATE being alone. Now I just get super tired and sleepy when I am around groups of people. It just sucks all my energy to try and keep up. I have taken the MB personality test multiple times throughout my life and both as a young child (when I was being tested for ADD, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities - turns out it was ADHD but that's a whole other story) Anyway the results of the multi-hour personality test changed. I went from an ENFP to an INFP so it's not a total personality flip but one of the 4 major indicators changed. I know this is a topic of debate and I have been told a number of times that I am WRONG because personalities cant change like that, and it didn't happen overnight, it was like a 10-year shift, but it happened. And it happened to ME, not someone I know. Various traumatic and extenuating circumstances can change the way a person interacts with the world and how they feel about it. - That being said.... this interview is clearly NOT about UFOs... I mean not really.

Actually it happened to me too, and I agree with your take that highly emotionally charged events or environments can flip your personality profile from extravert to introvert, vice and versa. As a child I was introverted but growing up in an extravert culture, I had to come out of my shell. Then switched back to introvert the past decade; the thing is I am really familiar with MBIT and took several tests, so I have been self-monitoring over a couple of decades now. After all these years, I realize I am an introvert (love being alone to carry out personal projects) but if we meet, you'll never know as I am quite good at "working the crowd" but find exhausting after a couple of hours and want to go back to silence.

I think the most telling part of this interview was when they were speaking about bob lazar and how CIA suggested the most likely solution to fixing the Bob lazar problem was to "disappear him onto an island in bora bora". (So glad the host asked a follow-up question to that statement because I was thinking the exact same) And then CIA tried to normalize the practice of making ppl disappear, describing it as a luxurious life, compared it to witness protection program (when its a known fact that witness protection programs are not very well funded and many complaints made by rhe witnesses), and most importantly: clearly was defending the US for employing these practices (regardless of ethical implications). Hey I love America just as much as the next guy, but they arent signing my paychecks... If I witness govt doing fucked up shit, im gonna call it out, unlike someone who, let say, was currently employed by them or other special interest. Idk, just smelled a little fish sticks to me

The government should have secrets. It’s unserious to think a nation can be defended without secrets and getting rid of problems. The more alarming thing was how rapidly he went down the path of undermining his credibility in so many ways. For example, the way he brought up emotional intelligence and his marriage, that just looked like he was trying to throw down every undermining statement he could instead of just giving a single reason as to why he thought the guy was full of crap.
