I can’t believe people are calling Becky overdramatic. I was sexually abused (rape included) as a young child by someone who was ~40 years older than me. Obviously these victims were not rape victims, everyone knows that. It so confusing to see people diminishing their experiences because it wasn’t “as bad” as rape or other forms of SA. Becky said that she had been sexually assaulted before and that this made her feel similar. She was physically violated and made to feel in danger. What happened to her was disgusting! And Colleen deserves to face legal consequences-we can only hope that she does. I’m 17 and going through the legal process, which takes an extremely long time, and I’m very aware that victims rarely get justice. I just hope all of these people find healing.

I don’t blame this girl for what she did and immediately regretting her decision once she got called up and was basically humiliated- 16 year olds are dumb. Back in 2006 my sister (probably 13-14 at the time) wore skimpy clothes- obviously our parents didn’t approve and hated it, but she found her ways around being able to wear those clothes. Teenagers do dumb shit. BUT- when an adult is involved, it’s their job to tell the minor “NO”. It doesn’t matter if they dressed “provocative”, if they’re under 18 and you’re over 18, it is up to you to be the adult and tell them no. Teenagers have an excuse for their mistakes; puberty and hormones are a bitch to deal with and it becomes very confusing and convoluted. Adults do not have an excuse. Plain and simple.

She was a kid and was thinking about getting noticed by a celebrity she looked up to rather than how she would feel in hindsight if she was noticed, which happens a lot with kids and ESPECIALLY if the kids are blinded by admiration for someone. That's why it's the job of the adults to not engage like that, because kids are still developing and learning and might not have the same hindsight someone older and from an outside perspective might when it comes to those situations. Teens will often dress skimpy to feel older or be noticed, but most often they don't actually want to be sexualised, or they only realise they don't after they've experienced it because they're still learning.

I agree with your sentiment but consider: 1.) At 16, meeting a content creator you love, you are NOT going to turn down a chance to be on stage. Peer pressure is a bitch. 2.) So from what I understand vaguely the “porn bit” is more of “Look at what they’re wearing, you should fix it like this this and this” or something. Totally inappropriate but it doesn’t reveal any more of them than before they were called. 3.) It is 10000% ON THE ADULT to judge what is appropriate and what isn’t. I’m sorry but Becky is seriously being over dramatic. She literally “dressed skimpy” in hopes of being called on stage. She knew exactly what she signed up for. If she ever felt uncomfortable or didn’t want to go on stage she very well could of said no. I bet she laughed like crazy before, during, and after the bit. But now that all these allegations come out she was “traumatized, s*xually violated, and scared for her life” that day. Yeah…. Okay 👌🏼.

She did not know she was going to do a yoga segment, and she didn’t know Colleen was going to spread her legs open. If a CHILD is wearing skimpy clothes, for whatever reason, that is not giving you permission to open their legs in front of thousands of people. Obviously she would be traumatised by that happening!

It's very simple. Teens often make questionable decisions, dangerous decisions etc..because their immaturity and naive thinking. A full grown women thinking it's ok to have those kind of sexual interactions is guilty. If a parent isn’t comfortable with it thats fine but if you’re letting your kid go up there then colleen is assuming you’re ok with having PG-13 jokes made in front of/involving your kid. @@grilledcheese- I know her website says PG-13 comedy, but it really isn't. Spreading a child's legs open in front of strangers who are wearing a skirt is wrong. Sexual jokes aimed at children are not okay. The issue is that she gets sexual with kids. In my opinion, after listening to this for a while, I don't think she's a pedo, she just thinks these things are funny. But it's gross. And if you can't see that, then you obviously have the same gross humor. Adults using children for sex jokes is gross.

The difference is that Collen exposed and exploited a child's body for the yoga challenge. Meanwhile, the "porn bit" was just slutshaming, not nearly exposing someone's private areas to a wide audience of both kids and adults. I don't agree with either segments of her shows and I don't think Becky should have gone through either but you can see why one would traumatize her and the other would make her mildly uncomfortable(which I believe she was at least prepared for.)

When you are a kid and is a massive fan of someone, you will literally do anything if it means you get their attention. Kids were literally encouraged to dress like this to get noticed. No, if you’re a kid/teenager you may not realize how wrong this is. And if you’re an adult and don’t think this is wrong, then I don’t know what to say. When you’re younger you usually don’t realize how wrong things are until you get to around adult age (like 18-19). I was 14 when I was groomed online by a 20 y.o. guy who I thought was my “friend” and didn’t realize it was wrong till I was older. I’m 20 now and trust me, any sane adult would not open a little girl/teenager’s legs on stage (or in general), especially with a skirt on! That’s just absolutely disgusting, of course this girl felt uncomfortable!
