I was 36 years old when I was targeted and shot by terrorists in Northern Ireland, I am now 59 and although I have had battles in my life, I take my hat of to you Andy. You are a brave young man who would put to shame those of us who complain at the least little upset in our lives. Your courage leaves me amazed. God Bless both you and the country you gave so much to the U.S.A. God be good to this Hero.

IRA or UVF? I lived in Northern Ireland, and as a Frenchman working there in Prod and Cath schools, it was quite complicated. Got threatened by IRA punks once because of university research on the Troubles. Had friends from both "sides" - had a lot of problems with local police, got arrested by Green Berets searching for weapons contraband - was with my French car - got disrespected for being French. I was there in 1998-99, one week after the Omagh bombing. My family begged me not to go. I do understand how people can feel living up there when born catholic en rages half the population or vice-versa. I had heard and seen so many things there that I still keep a vivid memory of harshness, defiance and fear from Ulster. My first shock was the last barb wires in the border with the Republic, I thought I was back to cold era Germany. i wish this US military found a cure. I know the sacrifices they make to become an honor guard. Best wishes from France.

We are not God's counselor or his adviser. We have no authority to say what or where any of us will be or what we will be doing. We are only the creation. We do not speak for God. Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For by God's grace are we saved through faith; not by works, (or being a firefighter or law enforcement or a hero or a veteran or actor or News reporter/anchor or a soul singer or killed by a terrorist or a sports hero or a fashion designer or a rock star or body builder or a writer or cooking show host or walk into a room and lite up a room with their smile or a pioneer or a super pop star or bounty hunter or race car driver or country music singer or being modest or a Disney star actor or making people laugh or making people happy or a war hero or dying for your country or never killing anyone) 9 it is the free gift of God, not that anyone can boast of their salvation." Eternity will not be about any of us or what we have done. It will all be about Jesus Christ who died on a cross to save us from our sins. We all deserve hell and then the lake of fire that Burns with Sulphur and fire on judgement day. Thank you Jesus.

This is absolutely crazy. I went to the Arlington Cemetery in 8th grade for my school's trip to Washington D.C and I was elected to be one of the four kids to lay the wreath. Just before it was time for everything to do down the soldier walked up the stairs with the most intimidating face, and I was very nervous, but as soon as he got to the top of the stairs where we were, that imtimidating face broke and out came a very energetic smile and tone of voice as he explained what exactly we were going to do. I don't think it was this guy in specific but he looked and sounded exactly like him

3toisyou too bad that’s just made up nonsense. Pretty convenient that god can’t be blamed for anything and he uses the devil as a scapegoat. Nothing in the Bible makes any real sense. Like why would god create the devil if he knew that he’d eventually fall from heaven? See... that’s retarded in my opinion. God’s supposed to be able to see all of our futures? Why did he create humans as born sinners when he could have taken sin away or never even created it in the first place? If there is a god, it’s an overall unfair god.

When I see a beautiful young couple like this though, with such a cloud hanging over them it seems so unjust. Their parents must be bursting with pride for the wonderful young people they’ve brought up and I can see why they allowed their daughter to marry so young. What a fantastic CV he brings to the table so young, a man with a perfect sense of duty and discipline. And it is dying bc of the lack of money in the people, the system is rigged to support those with money, rich people have been getting reacher year by year while the middle class has lost monetary power, they cannot even go out of their fathers houses bc of how low the wages are they cannot sustain themselves much less a son/daughter, if we want a future, we need to fight with the low/middle class so that the people of this country may have a life as good as the latest gen

@@memerman9421 it depends on the state. Some states allow 1 person of age (18) and one at least 16 without even a parents signature. My mom was 15 when she married my dad. He was 18. But her mom had to sign papers to okay it. Funny story, my parents went to see a movie that was rated R and they weren't going to let my mom have a ticket. They said she needed a parent to eatch with her. So my dad went and got their marriage certificate to show he could allow her to watch the movie. Lol!

I have been to the Tomb twice and it is a very sacred place. The guards there are nearly fanatical about what they do and rightly so. I don't know if they have any ammo in their rifles but that is a very real bayonet affixed to the end. I hope that some dumbass never tries to punk out one of those guards. It could be messy to say the least.
@a-drewg17166 жыл бұрын
The guns they have are fully functional but are unloaded. Although the officer that does the changing of the guard as well as the inspection of the rifle is armed with a loaded sidearm.

There is footage around of people - kids of course - in attendance at the guard changing who whisper or talk. Those soldiers do NOT f around. They will crisply stop, turn to the crowd, snap their boots, stare straight ahead, and in a Marine boot camp drill instructors voice advise the crowd that the tomb is a sacred place and to remain silent. Those kids probably had to change their underwear and never said a word for a week lol
