Joining us on this episode of the Direct Action Podcast is retired JTF2 Specialist, and current CEO of Ventus Respiratory Technologies, Arjun Grewal. Arjun and I have known each other for over 17 years, through his 20 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces. Arjun has done amazing things for this country, and was kind enough to sit down and discuss his time in the unit, and some of those great things he was able to accomplish throughout his career. I am incredibly excited for you all to hear it.
Keep fit. Remain Humble. Stay in the Fight!

Thank you for your service, gentlemen. More of these conversations please. Our country lacks a fundamental understanding, respect and regard for your community, so we need to get all the conversations and stories and everything. I understand being humble, but lets preserve some real history here. We NEED to preserve history.

Great episode, you never get to see CF personnel tell their stories in any media really. I personally think that needs to change, because their stories need to told to help inspire the next generation. When I joined the reserves straight out of high school in 1999, I never heard even a whisper of JTF2 the whole time. I knew about the Airborne regiment but it had just been disbanded. I'm sure most young kids only information on CF SOF groups comes from the Rainbow 6 siege video game. Personally I think a book needs to done. With the amount of social media out there it could take off and boast recruitment and its 16,000 member deficit. I mean look at Dallas Alexander he did the Shawn Ryan show and now he's on tons of podcasts. That's the way to do it, get your name/brand/book out to the massive american military podcasts and it'll draw in that attention. But that's just my thoughts on it. Whenever I talk to the younger generations about what they want to do with their life, their answer usually comes up to something they can get paid to become within the CF that they can use then and after they get out. Far too many people in Canada and the rest of the world think if you join the military your going to be infantry and on the front lines. Which is so far for the truth, like you said there's like 5 specialist/support personnel for each operator. I do hope you get to do your cross country tour because I think the current style/method of recruitment in Canada is failing.

This is great. The Canadian military needs more recognition of the amazing accomplishments we've done. In WW1 and WW2 , Canada being quite small in the number of soldiers played a huge part , taking on POW s , fighting battles that no one else wanted to do but credit was often given to "the other allies". Keep up the good work youre doing and thanks.

Truly one of Canada's greatest accomplishments. We need to share this with the world at a time that canada is becoming one of the most embarrassing figures on the world stage. This info gives canadians a reminder of our forgotten core principles.

Thank u. More indo Canadians seeing someone that looks like them could motivate a lot of young people to join the forces, although it’s gone pretty woke.

Awesome to see these dudes being highlighted, especially folks from unique backgrounds. Not at all a fan of the woke mob pushing it, so seeing people who've made it to the top because they're badass top tier humans who did it by their own merits and had nothing handed to them for being different is sweet. Keep em coming Randy!

Couple of questions; couldn't understand the accent totally... What is a Cameron Hollander @7:33? Also, what is Reich Force Royal Canadian Regiment? Lastly, what is the 'CAM'?
