I just had to tell you. I’m a 43 year old man who loves camping and the outdoors. I was 5 years Army and 15 year FF You remind me of my dad telling stories around the campfire. He passed at the age of 48 in 2001 But it seems like yesterday. I have ptsd as well. Lately I’ve been listening to your stories and calls at night when it’s time to unwind my brain as it kinda relaxes me a bit , I guess it’s like comfort food for the soul to me I guess is the best way I can put into words. Love the calls afterward so we can hear your original convo for ourselves. Pretty darn awesome. Thanks 🙏 for what ya do. God Bless !!!

Hi Chris, been watching your channel for a while now and I enjoy your stories immensely, and this story was pretty interesting to say the least. I live next to the Allegheny National Forest and also Allegany State Park in southwest NY, and I gotta say there’s pretty consistent reports of Sasquatch around here. Probably because it’s so heavily forested I’d imagine. Great channel and awesome content, sir!

Love that campfire. Absolutely believe these stories. I raised 9 kids in MN near Carlos Aviary in Washington County. I’ve seen trees ripped up by small tornadoes that snake down, rip a few things up and slide back up into the clouds. Odd things happen all the time.

I had a bigfoot encounter when I was a young teenager in the Catskills around 1982..It was in the town of Roxbury around dusk..It was reddish brown in color..I saw it near a stream next to an old concrete bridge that was partly collapsed inside the stream..It walked into the woods and was gone...I got scared and ran inside a nearby restaurant then went home about an hour later...Only time I ever saw one and will never forget it...

I like how that guy talked, it was New Yorkeese, but it was very articulate. And it really added a lot of authenticity to the story. People from all over the country talked a little bit different. And this was exactly what someone from his area would sound like. I like your stories by the campfire but you should have somewhere you do the interviews to there's another KZbinr named Terry Carter who does a lot of interviews on things like this, treasure hunting, out of place archaeology and even Bigfoot stuff. He does a lot of interview with people and has them tell their stories. You might consider doing this more often to have a change of variety. You are a really good interviewer. And it really makes the story come alive.

Me and my Sister observed one, for maybe 10-15 minutes, in the Smokey Mountains of TN. It seemed like an Eternity, as we watched it ripping leaves off of a bush, and eating them! We've never been so terrified, in our whole lives- before or since! I was too scared to run, too scared to stay- almost too scared to even breathe! It was a beautiful Reddish Brown, and had a distinctive "monkey-like" face, and pronounced Crown on top of its head. When we FINALLY summoned the courage to run, it let out the most God awful ROARRRRRRRR, that seemed to go on, forever, as it reverberated, down through the hollers! I now feel blessed to have had an encounter, but, it felt like a Nightmare, at the time! I think the hardest part was trying to reconcile what we were looking at?. Is not supposed to exist, it's just a Myth. A Monster... yet, there it is! I think that's another reason, why so few people are even able to take a photo. By the time you recover from the shock- it's usually LONG gone! By the time we got off the mountain to safety, I could finally let go, and broke down, into tears! My Sister started vomiting! We were in literal, physical Shock! They truly exist. Sorry to ramble on. Lol Have a great, blessed day!

Good vid, Chris. Tyvm. I grew up in Oregon, we lived in the hills between small towns back then. Not many people around us but a lot of forest. We used to have one or so come by the house every year, stay for a bit in the Autumn before moving on. I never saw it myself but I did hear it and sense its presence. My brothers and sister did see it along with our mother, who saw it twice. The time they saw it, it had slept in our barn. We knew something was in the barn as the horses wouldn't go near it and stayed outside all night long and next day so our mom told my brothers to go see what was in the barn but as they got close, it screamed like a cougar but it wasn't a cougar. They said it came to the open barn door but stayed in shadow and was huge. They all came into the house where I was watching tv by myself, I was about 9 years old then, my brothers 12 yrs old and they were freaked out which is how I found out about this. The second time all of us kids had moved out of the house, mom was living there alone. She was young, early 40s and one night it came to the living room window and stared at her. She didn't notice it at first but got a really bad feeling, was very scared but couldn't move. Finally it moved on and then she could move and got a shotgun. A couple days later the dog was missing and she found a skinned haunch of raw meat just outside the house, as if a gift. She said she thought it was what was left of the dog. I think they climb the trees sometimes, maybe even sleep up there. They're strong, faster than we are and some will kill us while others just stay away from us. I also think they're nomadic, following deer herds as they move along the countryside but they seem to avoid large towns and I think they avoid cities completely. They can move silently, stand still for long periods of time and are great mimicks so that could explain the old lady conversation you heard. Anyway, I didn't mean to write you a novel. Good vid, ty again. Be well.

So glad to see how many people follow Chris, my sister and I started listening when his following was getting started. We also have and wear one of his great sweatshirts. Loved this story about Bobby I understand the hair standing up when he saw the head of this Sasquatch go by his window, can’t imagine actually seeing one! One night when I lived in New Mexico I was up around 2am and just walked into the bathroom (was the third level of our home, summertime and the window was open) all of a sudden I heard a loud woop. I knew all the animal sounds as we lived there 14 yrs. I had never heard it before it was a bit off in the distance and I couldn’t place the sound, until I heard an answering call not far from our house. Then I remembered recordings I’d heard on some of the BF documentaries. Was sooo glad it wasn’t when I was out with my horses! Some nights they would be so spooked. We were living just outside the Lincoln National Forest. Anyway, love your stories and keep on hiking😊

Hey Chris this was a good one. They're all different and that's what makes some more interesting. Hope they keep their distance for his sake. Keep hiking and looking out for one or more and hope you run into a friendly one. Bring your pal Jeanette on your shows more. I think I told you maybe a year ago I had an encounter with one or something else and it was scary as hell when I was out walking on a lonely Country Road bewhy a lot of woods. Something was following me from a distance maybe two or three blocks behind me and it was dark then so I started walking a little faster and it did too so I started jogging and it did too so I took off like a bat out of hell and so did it and my adrenaline kicked in and I swear I was taking 4 or 5 ft leaps and it was keeping Pace with me and then I finally out distanced it or it slowed down or stopped. I didn't smell or hear anything like a voice or heavy breathing. Sure glad it didn't catch up to me or I wouldn't be here telling you this Maybe. I'm 84 now but I was young then in my twenties. I normally wasn't scared of anything but this changed me. Well that's it Chris and thanks much, so appreciate your episodes. Take care, God bless and over and out.

NO personal experience here, but lots of years of listening to stories like this ... Given the tree damage and the massive thump sound, I wonder if the Sasquatch are climbing and sitting in some of the trees around his house (and then the thump is when they land, climbing down.) Sasquatch are known to use tree seats for observing the area in other parts of the country/world, though I don't what kind of trees they prefer. And the "little old ladies"? Could it be younger Sasquatch talking to each other...? Other witnesses discuss the "Samurai chatter" --- just my two cents' worth -- I totally believe this gentleman and thanks, Chris for the lead in!

While this is truly a frightening encounter I think I’d rather deal with a possible 9’ BF than I had the mental cases on the streets of NYC! My hats off to NYPD officers. “ I don’t want no presents.” 😂😂😂

Gotta get involved to clean up our elections so one party rule can end. NYC can look to California to see their near future.

Wow, I live not far from NYC, like Bobby I wouldn’t believe Bigfoot would be in upstate NY. Thank you for having Bobby on. Many people have had PTSD from seeing a Sasquatch. I can understand how he would be fearful. This isn’t a creature you can just shoot with a gun. I think him flashing his light probably disturbed the Sasquatch. They must of seen the campfire and heard the music because they were not far from where Bobby and his friend were sitting. I just wouldn’t want to be outside at night. The Sasquatch were definitely sending a message by breaking branches off that big Pine tree. They didn’t destroy his house but were being territorial. I heard of people giving peace offerings that cannot afford to move or sell their property. Maybe Bobby would want to sell his cabin and relocate but not on top of the forest line. Sad because it sounds like such a beautiful area. That Sasquatch had to be so huge! 10 or 11 foot tall. More than one so probably family of them living nearby.

Loved the New York accent! It’s crazy to think these creatures may be in the North East.

Crazy and I do not like it 😅😅. We live in northern Jersey. We went to upstate NY in 2018 very high up close to Canada and I never thought of Bigfoot/Sasquatch. Now I'm like thanks but no thanks. 😢

There is even a Long Island, Bigfoot channel. I’m from NYC and I was very surprised to find someone reporting on them so close to the city in what is primarily a suburban area.

I’ve just read a comment about a man recalling his late Father telling him stories and relating his memories to your story telling. I was actually thinking the same, my Dad would always read to me as a child, before going to sleep, and listening to you Chris brings back lovely memories. Please keep on with the stories 👍 Thanks from the UK
