Bigfoot barley wine style ale! Best beer ever… I never comment on anything Chris, but you forgot to show how the mule is scared on the bottle… and even more importantly how they are all sitting around the campfire enjoying a beer together on the inside of the cap when you open it. A friend of mine had a similar experience in NW Montana back in the early 70s. He was driving on a forest service road on his way home after a fishing trip. It was dark and he was driving slowly because of the rutted, curvy dirt road when he came around a bend and a huge 'something' slid down an embankment in front of his truck. He said it spun around and angrily slapped it's hairy hands on his hood (he had slammed on the brakes and didn't hit it) and then swiftly ran into the forest on the other side. This guy was a 4th generation Montanan, raised on a ranch and was a skilled hunter/fisherman etc. He knew all the wildlife in those mountains including bears and he swore it was some kind of enormous ape-man.

Avery County is a very rugged, beautiful mountainous area in the northern part of NC. It’s not far from Mt. Mitchell which is the highest mountain east of the Mississippi River. This story takes place up the road from Banner Elk and about two hours or so northeast of Asheville. This area has had Bigfoot sightings before. Thanks for a great story!

The interesting thing about the interview is the man doesn't seem to be inventing the story as he's questioned. He's giving very plausible and believable details. It's like he's not insecure about getting a made-up story wrong that he's previously told. There are crazy things living in our forests.

I have a couple of buddies that are so wrapped up in politics and gossip. Drives me nuts, I can't get them to talk about anything else. Couple weeks ago I told them to check out this channel, that Chris talks about the exact same political things they do. Well as it turns out they both have become subscribers and love these stories and scenery Chris brings us weekly. So Chris I owe you a huge Thank You for that, the past few times I've talked to these knuckleheads it's been about mountains, camping, travel, and BIGFOOT! I must say in closing that I am very much worried about this great country but we still have to live our lives everyday. Now my only concern is if these guys will still do our annual backcountry camps and hunts or will they be too scared now 😆... they have become quite curious about these kinds of encounters where we go! Thanks again Chris, watch yourself out there💪

I am a trucker and i was driving about 10 pm on I 64 heading East, but 64 can be rather quiet and narrow on places. I was about the only trucker on the road, and there were no cars, not a full moon or anything., You know how when there are NO lights above , ahead of you, nor in back of you , it's just DARK. All of a sudden , the yellow line to the left of the passing lane was just missing and I thought , " oh , something like a bear is crossing because it reappeared, the yellow line and my headlights caught a dark shiny , hairy , uhhhmm what looked like a long armed Ape with knees bent with a slight run going from the median grassy side, the fast lane , crossing in front of me to the RIGHT side of the road and the White line then disappeared for a couple of seconds .......... so I knew it , whatever IT means...............lol ..... just slinked into the ditch on the right side of the slow lane !! I actually couldn't understand or comprehend what I was looking at going from Left to right without stopping and knees were bent slightly , arms were long and moved smoothly just sleek as could be! I wasn't too scared because it didn't seem like 'IT' wanted to wait for my truck to be near it. However, I was in shock because it definitely was NOT a bear walking upright with slightly bent knees and there was NO light fur, just a reflection of my headlights off it's very shiny and pretty brown/black hair. A perfect masterpiece of a ' BEAST' ........ so I had a renewed respect for people who have actually said they have seen a Bigfoot. It wasn't a huge size but about maybe 6-7 feet tall, it's shoulders would definitely be about a few inches above my headlights, ... I drive an 18 wheeler.

I spoke to them and said" I know you are up there but I don't have to look at you." Then I went in my trailer. I appreciate your channel. Love from Ms Pat from southern Indiana 🌹

Chris, this guy's story is intriguing and seems credible. It's scary but fascinating. I've always assumed that these creatures are harmless because they've come close to people's tents and so forth but this one seemed aggressive. If I were that close to one I would grab my phone and take a pic. I don't see why people haven't done that. I know fear keeps one from doing alot of things but I want to see pictures. I believe anything is possible and maybe even the government is keeping secrets and not letting people privy to what they know. This is a great story!! Stay safe out there Chris! ❤️

I have heard other stories of them being aggressive also. Dogmen, on the other hand, are usually always aggressive and will stalk people (and, when in groups, will try to circle around a person or animal). Sometimes, they just want to terrorize.

WOW, Cris!!! I too live in NC & have heard about folks encounters with these gov't- made super hybrids. Thank God I live in a suburb near downtown. Truly a harrowing experience!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

Thank everyone for your comments. This was one the most terrifying and amazing experiences of my life. My wife wants to have an experience and my youngest son doesn't even believe they exist. I hope I am around long enough for him to have an experience, it would be so satisfying to see his reaction. Again, thank everyone for your comments

From what I understand these creatures are extremely smart,an cunning,to survive this long, they post watches in the forest spaces out over a ridge or bluff to detect danger, extremely fast, strong and agile,he was probably large male.

What an incredible tale of terror! OMG, I would have floored the Ford, too!! As a Minnesotan, I found the name of Minneapolis NC (pop 300) intriguing and a bit humorous because the Twin Cities, Minneapolis/St Paul metro (pop 3.5M), is about an hour west of me. I could only imagine the amount of videos of Bigfoot there would be if the creature was found at Minnehaha Falls or Lake Nokomis in MPLS, MN. The third Minneapolis in the US is in Kansas, pop 2K.

Scary stuff, Chris. The smell of a pizza could well be the key. Great story and I would hate to be in that position, myself.
