@Thomas Morningstar not so, I have several friends who are hikers/ backpackers, and they do it all, filming editing and uploading themselves. Many also use drones, They will put the camera in a place, walk past it, out of sight, then return for the camera, this is edited out, so you can see just how much work it is for them to bring us these amazing videos to watch from the comforts of home,

Featherville really ought to be called a settlement. I've been there several times, passing through on my way to nearby places where I wanted to hunt deer. Easy to see how something like the fabled Sasquatch could hang out in that area. Hunting alone in that general neck of the woods, not all that far from Featherville as the crow flies, I've twice had a very strong feeling of being watched, but I never could locate who or what was watching me. Cool story. Thanks for sharing.

I think if that was my property, a lot of trees would get cut back to encourage certain things to go away. I watch Outdoor Gear Review and the guy that does it just goes on little trips to Review different camping gear. He is very much just the facts and doesn't get into anything paranormal. On his Thanksgiving video he heard something following him and thought it was a bear. On the way back he heard it again but it was real clear and obviously bipedal. It was pretty fun to watch, but you could tell it spooked him. Keep up with the good stories.👍👍👍

Hi Chris, that creature which people call Sasquatch/Yeti is actually common here in the Himalayas. Local folks know it and Indian Army had officially given photographs of it's footprints. Those are not monsters but ancient race called Vanaras, who helped God in defeating the demons. God ordered some of them to stay on earth for some purpose, and they even today are present. We in Hinduism worship Hanuman, a Vanara. They are a good race, which mostly doesn't cause harm and at times have helped people, left alone in the Himalayas or yogis up there.

You know Chris, in the winter if places are inaccessible, you could maybe have a corner of a room in your home that you turn into a winter grotto and sit in there for the video, or if you have a log fire, do it there in the dark with your lantern and your beer. I think the stories are the main thing and the woods is extra. There's a lot of lonely isolated people out there and reading the comments it seems that some of those people have found you and they really look forward to their sunday night because of you and your stories. So it would be a shame to have to stop it when there's a blizzard. But no point getting hypothermia or risking your neck just to tell a story. You may have your own ideas, so it's just a thought. Best wishes to you

Back in the early 90's I was camping up in the Forlorn Lakes in the Cascade Mts in Washington state. It was about 2 am and I got up to go to the bathroom outside. It was a moonlit night so I could see pretty good. There were only 2 camp sights there and the other was empty. You could see all the way across the lake in this pretty remote area. I then heard a scream but it wasn't a scream from across the lake. It really scared me so I hurriedly finished and jumped back in the trailer. I have camped all my life and never heard a sound like that. About 12 years or so later I was watching a show about Bigfoot on the Discovery Channel and they had a recording of a Bigfoot yell. It was the exact same sound I heard at the lake that night. Another time after that my dad and brother were elk hunting in the Blue Mts Washington. There was 4-5 feet of snow that had fallen while they were up there and they decided to leave. Be fore they left they were looking out across a ravine to the opposite side and saw what they said was a "hunter" all dressed in black😆 and walking swiftly through this deep snow until it disappeared into the trees. There was no road or trail where this "hunter" was walking. They got the binoculars on it right as it entered the trees so didn't get a clear look. As they were walking back to the truck my brother walking behind my dad slid the bolt on his rifle and my dad jumped. My brother's only comment was, "So you do believe" To this day neither will say it was Bigfoot.

Hi Chris... not sure if you came across a recent comment of mine relating to the 'ghost-like' dark figure of a very large creature in heavy fog, which came out of dense forest and slowly walked across a gravel road approximately 10 to 15 feet in front of us, at Great Otways National Park, Victoria, Australia... back in the early 90's. Have just found a couple of stories where both a US National Parks Ranger, plus a couple driving together through Yosemite NP, witnessed very similar creatures (by their independent accounts), under similar conditions... one on a clear night and the other in heavy night fog. Yet each said the creature appeared dark in colour but ghostly. Nice to have collaborating details from both sides of the Pacific. I'm the "when l see it l will believe it" guy. My friend and l certainly know what we saw, so it's even more interesting now, knowing we are not alone in viewing this creature or apparition.

It’s interesting how people react differently to danger; it’s very sad that Logan learned that he is not a competent person in a crisis..and needed his friend to make decisions to save him… . But David also learned a lot about himself that night; he’s IS a survivor and can make critical decisions in a crisis and act upon them, AND he did NOT abandon his friend and do the “ every man for himself “ thing. David is the guy you want in your foxhole…it has probably made him a more confident and successful person.

I hope a nice one shows up in one of your videos, maybe sit down beside you and you can share a beer with it. I think I said this to you once before. What a blast these stories are. Well Chris keep hiking and looking around and enjoy and taking us along with you. I'm out of here but not going hiking at this time, bye now. Oh by the way how's Jeanette? See y a

I love the stories! I live in Hailey which is not far from featherville. I spend a lot of time solo hunting and camping in the surrounding wilderness. For some reason I like to scare myself with stories before heading out for a solo adventure! 😂

If you believe all of these stories, and also your own experience, how on earth do you walk through these places especially at night 😳. I watched something a while back on the amount of people who disappear never to be seen again in some of these forest areas in US. I know some just genuinely get lost off trail or fall and hurt themselves and never get found because of the density of the forest , but the thought of coming up against one of these things is terrifying.

The fact that these creatures crawl like spiders when they want to pick up speed, is as chilling as it gets. I think if I saw something like that, I'd most likely have heart failure!! Thanks Chris ! Always a good spooky story to tell!! As always, stay Safe and Happy Trekking!! 👍😀

There’s quite a few story telling vloggers out there, but I think Chris found a nice niche. I enjoy his demeanor and presentation. Early in the 1970’s, while just out of my teens, I was squatting, with friends at an old mining claim deep in the heart of the Siskyou Mts in Southern Oregon. Although I did not have any visual sightings. I found deep set large foot prints, heavy tramping around the cabin at night and experienced a scary strange growling after following what I thought was a black bear in high weeds. I also heard 1st hand accounts of Bigfoot encounters from friends. This is at a time when there was virtually no stories circulating about Sasquatch, except the 1960’s Patty film. At that time it was largely dismissed as a hoax. I don’t believe these are tall tales since I’m an experiencer.

Fantastic story Chris. Thanks as always. The really scary part was having no lock on the shack's door. P.S. How cold is it there? I walked to work this morning in Outer Mongolia. It was -33 degrees C at 7am. FREEEEEEEEZING!!!! And it's only Autumn still 😲

That is an incredibly scary story. It reminds me of a time when I parked my VW Beetle on Rte 17A in New York state, in July of 1973, and hiked 4 miles down the trail to sleep on top of a huge rock outcropping 10 feet above the local terrain. I awoke at midnight to hear some some animal, apparently good sized, scream towards me, at least it seemed that way. We exchanged screams for several hours till maybe 2 AM. I stayed awake the entire night. It probably was a Fisher Cat. I was concerned to not pinpoint my position by shining my flashlight, so never saw anything.

Really love your stories, Chris. Thank you ! One thing that sits with me is that no one is ever attacked. If these creatures exist, they could very easily kill people but I haven't heard of this. Seems to me they just use the means to scare you out of their area.

Chris I got spooked! My room lights are on while I am watching your video. My headset is covering my ears. I'm watching and listing intensely to your story, then when the sound effect of the branches breaking made it sound like the thing is behind me in my room. I think my heart skipped a beat. I know you have sound effects in your video, but it caught me off guard. So funny when my wife jumps at scary movies, but i had to laugh at myself for jumping. Thanks for the story.😃
