Erika, thank you so much for letting Evy speak and not interrupting her, so rare to see this. I love this skill in interviewers! Letting the speaker talk, express herself, makes you, the interviewer great! You shine through your guest! Also, this podcast is a powerful one!

This interview had two very intelligent women who are able to elaborate on their experiences using empathy and wisdom. There’s so much to take away from this. Erika, thank you so much for the valuable, relatable questions. You’re fantastic for letting Evy speak, clarify points, and add to the message. This is so damn helpful!

My kid was crying after school one day when I picked her up from the Salvation Army daycare. She said she stopped at the store while walking to daycare. The kids she was with stole some things. We went to the store so we could tell them. My kid felt better. Come to find out they were the same kids who were acting badly outside my best friend's condo. She made them cookies from time to time as a thank you reward for being respectful. They loved her! She is a teacher and got them to act nicely. The store said they knew someone was stealing. My kid felt better and the others respected her because my teacher friend is my child's Godmother!

There's a homeless man down the road. Says he doesn't drink or do drugs. He's in one spot most of the time, outside a store. Talks to me about his problems. Seems genuine. He's trying to get off the street. All he needs is £150, but I don't want to raise that if he is going to mis-spend it. He disappeared for a days from his usual spot, then was back again. I said to him 'Where have you been?' He said 'I have been ill.' NOT ANSWERING MY QUESTION. 'WHERE.HAVE.YOU.BEEN?' 'I have been ill' is not saying where he has been. If he is homeless then why is it such a problem to tell me where he vanished to for a few days?
