If hes a public defender, then his attitude about it is most likely indifferent. He's just there to do a job, and when they part ways he going to walk away thinking, "Now that one is over, on to the next shitbag.." I used to work as data entry clerk at the county public defender's office, and for the most part, the lawyers who work there use it as a sort of "foot in the door" so to speak. They usually younger criminal defense attorneys, and it gives them an opportunity to gain experience in their practice, and network and make contacts and potential allies in the county that they may eventually want to start their own firm/practice in. Or to perhaps get picked up by a bigger firm as new junior associate or junior partner. And then there are the attorneys who are there because they have ambitions to become prosecutors, and the fastest way to the prosecutor's office is thru the public defender's office. Regardless of their motivations, for the overwhelming majority of lawyers working for the public defender's office, it's simply work experience to add to the resume. A stepping stone or jumping off point they use to get their careers in law up and running. The time I spent working for the public defender's office in college made me realize that I definitely did not want to work in criminal law anymore.

He couldn’t have. There’s a thorough background check to enter the police academy. You have to have a job offer with a department to enter academy. It takes 3-6 months. I wish I had gone to school to learn mental health because it just boggles my mind…what went wrong…& when? How do these awful, awful charges start in a person’s mind & why? Of course, also in killers. I recently watched confession of Michael Hernandez ( 14 yo at time) who..for no reason, 1 day decided to kill his friend in school. Not only him, but tried to with another of his friends. During interrogation he just out right confessed, told exactly how it was planned, exactly how he did it & wasn’t really bothered or nervous, just talked matter of factor like he was describing…i dont know, how he decided to buy a pair of jeans or something ( he didn’t , just example) it boggled my mind!🤯

Fam I legit just watched that one earlier today and it complete blew me away. You nailed it,. Like he was reciting a grocery list or something just....devoid of any remorse or guilt.

@@Jon-c7y OMG, YASSSS! Your example was much better than mine on buying jeans😂. He was pretty much monotone, proud…like they said in video as if he wanted approval from detective & show how smart he was. It was such a SENSELESS murder. Jaime, from his pic, looked like such an adorable & happy kid! To just lure him into bathroom like that & do what he did…INSANE! Then to find out he died in prison at 31 yo from OBESITY😂🤣. He must’ve bought tons of Ramen & honeybuns because how many people in prison get obese from prison food🤢. It looks gross! Yeah, like a grocery list. Plus, I’m so dumb, he was saying things like north parking lot & sl!t from north to south…hell, I’m just happy I get where I’m going…idk details like directions😂. I like watching those interrogations especially when people think they’ll act ‘insane’. Those r funny too, because so ridiculous! I guess some ARE insane, but the ones who act it…🙄

@@badxradxandy well he was 14..the kid he killed was 13 so…my goodness…it starts that early?! Idk what home life was for him but he looked well kept, nice clothing, his own bedroom, just typical kid. Never in trouble before except for at times in school reprimanded for going to certain bathroom before the school opened. In gifted classes & got A’s & B’s. Idk if he wanted notoriety or wth he did it for? He didn’t know why. He also said something which confused me a bit..Det asked if he knew right from wrong? Yes. Do u think what u did was wrong? Not really. Then next question he said it was wrong 😵‍💫 it was only about half hour they showed ( sure it was longer irl. They had the time going during interrogation but I didn’t pay attention. They edited it down to about half hour & what a half hour it was!

I just served on my first jury duty ever 2 weeks ago. It was "continuous sexual assault of a child". He ended up with a sentence of life. The girl he assaulted starting at 15 years old testified, and pretty much put the nail in the coffin for this dude. She told us about the sex toys, and sex anime, and videos. He basically groomed her and told her that he was "getting her ready for a boyfriend The search warrant turned up every single thing she said was there. She even told them where to find very specific items
