@@cookieguy9885 obviously you never know. But the human TAS is (or was) at 55:28. So the best SOB that was possible at the current time. In such a long run with that many precise tricks it's incredibly hard to stay within 30 secs of your SOB. Tyron did it, yeah. But we're talking about strats that are so hard that they can save up to another minute compared to tyrons SOB. A community best with 2 player strats. It might happen some day, but it's going to take a looong while and maybe is impossible for humans anyways

I'm not kidding, this is the closest human perfection run I have ever seen since Niftski WR on SMB. He wasted only something like 10 seconds in a 56 minutes run, that is incredible, the level of the execution was mental and consistent across all the worlds: I never thought a run like this would have ever been performed, doing all major skips perfectly and not failing a single move (except for like 4 cases, this is how mental this run was) nor input. I really don't know how much it will take to even get close to this time, since the WR now is 40 seconds away from the 2nd actual best time, I doubt it may won't even be ever beated, at least with the actual knowledge of the game. Congratz Tyron, you are the GOAT of SMO and one of the all-time greatest speedrunners, you have made the history of this game and of speedrunning in general :)
