That’s a useful hand tool right there. I wonder if it does plexiglass and acrylics well? I bet it would. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I bet so if it thin enough

This is 100% easier with a paper cutter (in the application shown). It will cut square, straight , and Also leaves a crisp clean edge on both sides. However if you need to remove a piece laminate from a cabinet I could see this as useful

Do you mean like a box cutter/Stanley knife type cutter? He used what he called a razor knife.

How does it compare to a utility knife with a sharp blade? Advantages? Disadvantages?

Does this work for counter top Formica?
@dantheman93955 жыл бұрын
You don[t need no sticking straight edge....LOL That would save me some razor blades
@HWYHOG14 жыл бұрын
Would it score really thin metal? I've used a box cutter but it takes forever.
@rocknral Жыл бұрын
I used to use the point/ edge of a sharp wood chisel to scribe sheet metal. Two or 3 runs with the chisel it should bend and snap.

That's a nice tool! Great price too!

I have an older one of the same thing it used to be branded Kobalt my older one is branded however more and more of the Cobalt offerings are not offering warranties anymore and this is one reason that they don't do The Branding on certain items now the older ones that are still branded carried lifetime warranty the newer ones are the same tool without the branding and there is no lifetime warranty Lowe's is becoming more and more Cheapskates

Ya I noticed this. I swapped out a torque wrench because it broke at like 17ftlb (lolwtf?) of torque. They seemed really confused until I sent them a picture of the tool with Kobalt etched into it.
