There are different router bits that we can use to finish high pressure decorative laminates such as Formica brand. I'm going to show you two router bits that my kit of 15 WORKPRO router bits brings that are used to cut decorative laminates in our carpentry jobs. You can see how to use the palm router or laminate trimmer to cut de laminate flush to our MDF Table.
In the video I use as an example a table whose top surface is made of MDF and I will glue a white high-pressure decorative laminate to the top. I am sure that if you follow the instructions in this tutorial step by step you will be able to achieve excellent finishes in your carpentry and DIY jobs.

I'm used to larger, corded routers kzbin.infoUgkxfQ5_mgwq6PcudJvAH25t-I4D-3cTPz4z so this was a different experience for me. Basically, this is an incredibly sweet machine, fits well in the hand, etc. It has slightly less power than I'm used to, but that's understandable. Maneuvering freehand takes some practice. These days, it's especially nice to be able to avoid power cords. This is above the level of a hobbyist but below a pro level.

Remember I am not in USA. I think you can find a good contact glue to use Laminates. Remember to read the instructions of the product you will use. I am sure you can verify in this instructions if the contact glue you can buy is good to this use or not.

This is a great video, but videos like this are very dangerous. You watch a professional do something and think to yourself, "That looks so easy, I'm going to redo my whole kitchen!", completely forgetting the professional has years of experience. Meanwhile, you're some dumb schlub with no experience looking at your new countertops and wondering how you ever got yourself into this mess. If you're going to take on something like this, please listen to my voice of experience and practice on smaller, less important pieces before working on something that actually matters!
@DomingoFreire

Hehehe, certainly practice is very important in all activities and professions. All woodworking techniques require a lot of practice and it is always wise to gain experience with small parts and projects before taking on larger projects. Thanks for your comment and I hope you like all my tutorials about carpentry and the use of tools.
