@@lif3andthings763 well, linguistically they were closely related to the Semitics, Berbers and Cushitic, ut not the Meroe people. The Meroe were influenced by the Egyptians, but not viceversa, at least until the 8th century BCE when the Nubians invaded Egypt and stablished the XXV dinasty. The previous contacts were fundamentally mercenaries, commerce, wars and also there exist a quite weird egyptian dance god that came from the Meroe.

@@rafaxd8178 Meroe aren’t a people that was the one of the bigger cities of Kush. The ideas of ritualistic burials and other parts of Ancient Egyptian culture developed in the south. They were closer than you think.

Actually, the nubian ideas of the divided nubian kingdoms such as alodia and the nubian ideas of the formable nation are named the same but for some reason are different in terms of the bonuses, and formable nubia's are definitely better. It's kinda confusing since they have the same names.

@@LudietHistoria Noticed through testing right after I asked, playing usegi into japan and swapped Confusian and went Teocratic for shits and giggles, that 30% final reform is insane, should have done the swap to Confusian through having more than 50% of that faith instead of through incidents tho as that would have let me swap gov much quicker through ikko ikki, oh well learn from mistakes. :)

I got this achievement as Makuria before Nubia was a formable tag, i took all Nubian culture provinces as well as the gold mines in in the Horn of Africa. I turned into a horde to crush the Mameluks in battle. Pretty fun experience.
