I must admit, aespa is incredible. I'm not really in their fandom but I love their hype title tracks. Spicy, drama and now supernova all have incredible music videos and are real earworms. And their albums are really solid. There's plenty of great music and groups in K-pop but aespa really has this confidence and sass, almost camp. The acting and fun in their MV is magnetic. I'm also so happy to see your video. I never know when you post but every time it's a joy!

Whats really interesting is they follow the life of a star really well. Star's before going Supernova they grow and effect their surroundings, when they explode, and if they become a black hole yall get sucked in like that wind effect at the end of the MV. Also time near a blackhole was speed up. SM really thinks about their art so well.

An interesting thing about their powers is that they embody different components of a supernova; Ning is the fire from the star, Karina is the force that a star inherently has, Winter has zero gravity (but notice how often she spins, like an orbit), and Giselle is time, one of the hardest things to quantify when it comes to space.

I was a preteen/teen in the early 2000s and I feel like the fashion in this video is the best callback to the true chaos and in your face energy of that time that I've seen yet in kpop (except probably XG but they're sort of not kpop).
