Can I just say that I absolutely love this channel? You're always quick to react to important information but never in a superficial or surface-level way, you always go beyond what other youtuber channels and even a lot of Automotive media typically do. You cut all the fluff and give us solid content all the way through, but it never feels rushed - you hit every relevant point but don't beat around the bush. The content is always really engaging and I frequently find myself re-watching videos because of how information dense and enjoyable they are. I'm a very new fan of formula 1, I only started watching in 2017 and it was through youtube rather than other media that I actually first gained an interest. I have been so grateful to your F1 wars series filling me in on so much history and legacy that I missed before coming to the sport, and I am consistently impressed by the professionalism, level of detail and storytelling in your catalogue of videos. This is gonna make a very interesting championship with all the European races in the summer, Mercedes tend to not do as well in very hot conditions and Silverstone and Catalunya are gonna be very hot in August so we could have a very close championship with Mercedes, Ferrari, and Red Bull all having a good shot the first 8 races

The exhaustion from the previous triple header came mostly from the travel they had to do. Now they'll be a the same track for 2 weeks and then they'll move to just one other race. So I don't think it'll be too hard on the crew.

I disagree. The talk was about how GP weekend you are always on. Travel isn’t hard for the teams. They are away from family, that was the rhetoric atleast I saw quoted. My talking to people on there crews that travel is being away from home is brutal but it’s how alert you must be Thursday night - Sunday.

UK law protects certain British traditional sporting events from being shown behind a ppv or subscription and have to be available on free to air channels. The Grand National, F.A. Cup final, The Open Golf, Wimbledon and the British F1 GP are a few sporing events which are protected. With there being two British F1 GP, I wonder if both will be shown on free to air.

Well I certainly wouldn’t put that in writing considering it would be considered libel. They held criminal court proceedings for years only to be deemed not guilty. No team would kill a driver on purpose bc they don’t like them. They’d simply drop their contract. They let the world champion go to bring on Ayrton. Merc always pace themselves in development. I’m eager to see what they do when they can be the well oiled machine they are. Part of me (most of me) thinks they are weaker on these circuits but part of me recognizes they purposefully withhold key updates. They might be stronger than ever by silverstone. @@CYMotorsport I realize that there is a ton more equipment to move. Maybe MotoGP is a better example. They do 3 races in 3 weeks and have a ton of equipment too. I'm still hot at the way Horner and RB have treated JEV, Sainz, and Gasley. But especially Renault. Renault took them to 4 straight double title and they were behind Mercedes and Ferrari at the start of the hybrid era. They still deserved better and weren't the sole reason Red Bull weren't winning.

good point. VERY conservative if it didn't, but yes they'd be a genuine championship. You could say 1982 had weird circumstances too and people still don't fully respect Keke's title. This is significantly more dicey. It depends on who wins, I'd wager. If Leclerc wins, people will count it. Hamilton, probably not.

technically speaking, we don't know the ACTUAL number. I have seen the leaked agreements famous from racefax.com on the 1997 concorde's. so I know for sure the precedent was set it switched from about 75% total revenue shared dropping dramatically to 23% thanks to Bernie. Today, we know roughly the column payments there's plenty out there on that.

Racing in Brazil this year would just be suicidal for the image of f1, since Bolsonaro does close to nothing in regards to the pandemia in the country. Number of infected and number of casualties rises every day and it won't stop rising in Brazil.

Interlagos can host about 60000 guests + team staff and drivers, and exposing THAT much people to a deadly infection and, most probably, actually causing thousands of people to get ill will generate a lot of controversy and talking, which certainly will negatively affect the stock prices of F1.

Theyll hit their 15, because they need the money, even at the risk of burn out. They might do Southern Hemisphere, but tbh, I doubt it. Logistically? Makes little sense to go to Brazil. Better to do their European leg, the middle East, and Asia, then do Mexico, US and Canada. They might do Brazil as the last race, just ducking down from Mexico, but I think they want streamlined travel, even geographically, just do races close together in a quick circle of northern hemisphere races, then a break for 2021. They might have done a Brazil if they weren't on the clock so to speak, but they've gotta get 15 races in 5 months. And with F3 and F2 on part of the calendar too, so will need to be conducive to them too. I see Europe, to Asia, to North America and over, being the most efficient way, especially if they jump China.

the first 2 races are not Mercedes's strongest I think Ferrari can get these ones and have a strong lead. from there lewis is pretty good on the next few tracks.
