Whilst no surprise that Ferrari have most wins, it was a lot closer than I expected, especially when you consider that Mercedes were out of F1 for 40 years!

Rodger Ward took the Offenhauser powered Kurtis Kraft midget car to the 1959 USA GP where he DNF on lap 20 with a clutch problem.

Yes, and the engine was developed from a portable fire pump engine (a variation of which ended up in a car called the Hillman Imp). For the time, it was an advanced, all aluminium OHC engine. The company was actually called Coventry Climax and made a range of different products, of which the most important were fork lift trucks.

Sorry, if you're gonna manipulate the official 'Tag' wins as 'Tag Porsche' (which I don't dispute per se), you're gonna have to do the same with the 17 'Red Bull' wins (officially RBPT, but really Honda). So the Honda tally would sit at 106 as off the end of 2022. 134 as of the present day. Screw the history books. Honda have been shafted. But so were Porsche. And Renault as Tag Heuer. Incredible how a watch manufactured so many race-winning engines or engines at all 🙄 2022: Honda wins but doesn't; 2023 onwards: Honda wins but doesn't but does ... huh... these last 45 Honda wins have been hollow.
