Wow Formula 1 in Thailand 🇹🇭 would be absolutely amazing. It would be possible as a street race like Singapore 🇸🇬 and it would be a night race due to the businesses and heat . This is truly possible to happen as F1 is going to expand more in Asia so this is very possible. Fair play Thailand, I’ll be there . Very interesting video Rob . Thank you.

As a F1 fan in Thailand, running races around the Grand Palace is quite scenic, but looking at it from a circuit layout perspective, the straight paths around can be a bit too repetitive, making the race seem dull. Expanding the race route out of that area might make the competition more enjoyable.

It would present the perfect opportunity to nab the Red Bull heir “Boss” too. I am sure his ego wouldn’t allow him to miss out on a Bangkok GP.

Well, they've got to try to do it in cooler months like in Dec or Jan and at night like you guys said. Seeing how drivers were in pretty bad shape in Singapore in the last race, that's probably nothing compared to what it would be like in TH. But would sure love to see it!

I think the pit lane is better suited at Sanam Luang. Bigger pit lane and space for staff and paddock. I've been figuring out the layout and I believe it should be at Sanam Luang for the start-finish line. At 4:00, that should not be a high speed corner, but instead it is a turn 1 with low speed turn to the otherside (left) towards the Pinklao bridge and make a sharp turn before the bridge. Now u get a long straight towards the Democracy Monument and some space for overtake in the first corner.

Valid point.. have you seen how savage the city is for Songkran? I think the clean up team to an epic job considering.. they would obviously step it up for a bigger event. I think they could handle it. There very adaptable and have enough body's to create new jobs for sure

@@ProjectBangkok It was more the impact on local businesses that lost millions a month all the way to the delivery and taxi drivers that had to spend 2 hours on a usual 15 min trip for the same pay. Then trying to get anywhere at any hour of the day became a hair pulling joke. The only one that made money was liberty media.

@@jdmjdmjdmjdmjdmjdmjdm that s Las Vegas city fault not F1. Austin Grand Prix for instance Favorited local shops, restaurants, transport companies meaning more jobs more revenues for the city. Same with Miami and Thailand won t be any different.

@@ProjectBangkok Aloha, The event was good, but the months of road construction and temporary grandstands caused crazy bad traffic so that the workers in the casinos had commute times triple. Many small businesses suffered due to road closures and other issues. All the big casinos made loads of money. The locals did not like the F1

I hate F1 street races. There is hardly any passing and the pit stops decide your position most of the time. Singapore is boring for me. And I hate the night races. Las Vegas night race "Killed" many smaller Business's in the Strip. And a lot of vacationers cancelled their trips before and after the F1 race because was torn up for car and foot traffic.Could not enjoy the The Strip at all due to the setup and teardown for the F1. It will interesting to see what happens this November with the setup.
@simong75396 ай бұрын
Early take, will never happen. Too many vested interests, kickbacks required. F1 in the boring stakes is just behind womens football. I know people like it but its just not a patch on touring cars where contact is optional.
