Hi Belinda! I am currently enrolled in the institute's diploma program. I am also a nonbinary person and would like to gently suggest using the term "Assigned female at birth" (AFAB) or Assigned male at birth (AMAB) for folks who no longer identify as their birth gender. I am very excited to see this step towards more inclusive cosmetics. I was wondering, many folks use hormones as a gender affirming treatment so their hormone levels more closely resemble those of cisgendered men and women. If this is the case for someone, would they still need the same formulation considerations for hormones that you stated in the video?

thanks for contributing! If you are taking hormone medication to alter your birth gender hormonal status, then yes, your skin, and the products it needs, will respond accordingly. Please consider which hormonal medication you are taking, as that is most likely to be how your skin will respond.
