This guy's been through a lot. He became a college football star, survive the Vietnam War, played ping pong in China, ran across the country, and went fishing for shrimp. Forrest Gump lost a friend in Vietnam. That guy Bubba, he went to the Army Academy with Forrest Gump. So he had a few people who liked him in his life.

I never did like the black lady at the bench. Or the fat guy. The only person who was cool to him at the bus stop was that one lady. Also it's hilarious that the whole movie took place at the bus stop when he didn't even need to get on the bus cus Jenny was down the street lol
